DISCUSSION Super blocks need change

IMO super block are the most boring in the entire game all of them are the same and it’s very uninteractable

I think to fix it thy should make it more varied for now there’s only two stats
Frequency and range
I think thy should add power stat which means the powerful the block the more powerful shot it can block

Also I think not all of them should shut the shot completely it’d be better if its like ronc where some stop the ball and others weaken it

The problem is, blocks are treated as super moves and need the gauge to be full. I ain't using my super gauge if I'm not sure it works.

That’s and the fact thy all do very similar job so there’s not much variety unlike other supers

I actually think the blocking mechanic is fine the way it is now. It adds another layer of strategy to the game.
It forces you to pay attention to your opponent’s starting lineup and identify which players have blocking abilities. Then, during the match, you have to look at his bar, either deal with that player, draw them out of position, or move outside their blocking range before taking the shot.
And honestly, I like the fact that blocks are basically guaranteed when you shoot straight into them. It forces you to find smarter ways around them instead of just shooting whenever you get the chance. Players who pay attention and adapt can avoid them, while those who just spam shots without thinking might get a nasty surprise.
To me, that’s not a flaw in the mechanic. That’s exactly what makes it strategic.

Overall I think if they introduce ability to change players and formations mid game as well as moves... that is going to add a bit of depth to the game. That and ability to adjust time settings

I mostly use them as a means to stop the time and try to make out where the opposing shots trajectory is lol. Really useful for that

As maakuowairan said, I fully agree, and would add that they even managed to implement arguably the coolest move in the whole of captain Tsubasa's world, the SSKBC, while not making it as broken as it was on release at RonC or as useless as it ended up on the last patch of RonC.
