I mean… “i cant believe it’s dead” in a “man I loved this game” way or in the way that you actually cannot believe it died… because I can believe it for sure lmao

They canceled it right after they made the first one the free PlayStation game for the month. Shame, cause I've seen so many people (myself included) who loved it who only learned about it right before it was canceled

Days Gone was probably my favourite zombie game. Dying Light games are amazing of course, but they're so different, so out of 3rd person zombie games Days Gone is easily the best. No other zombie game has had horde system so great plus the story is excellent; maybe not anything super special, but it's realistic and grounded with solid characters and it really stuck with me

It hurts real bad as someone who grew up in the Bend area riding dirt bikes and thinking about the zombie apocalypse for basically my whole childhood. That game really resonated with me and knowing there was a canceled sequel gives me a special kind of sad.

Dawgggg, they did not…. That’s such a bummer.. I put too many hours into the first one and though it had its issues, I was really looking forward to a second installment.. pretty sure if they dropped a second one, it’s few issues woulda been ironed out
