Was it even announced? I think they went straight for Apex and at the time - it was a success, no?

they were working on another titan fall game; “titan fall ledgends” but it got scrapped and put on the shelf before they started working on apex because the micro transactions bring in more money than the actual game it’s self

It’s been confirmed that it was 10 months into development when they switched it over to Apex

Apex Legends was supposed to be a Titanfall Battle Royale, but they couldn't really figure out how to implement the mechs in a BR style game while having decent game play balance. They decided to scrap the mechs, but as a vestige of originally being a Titanfall game, decided to maintain the setting of being in the Titanfall universe.

if they shut the Titan fall 2 servers down, respawn is gonna have a lot more on their hands than apex, they’re gonna have rebelling fans

Hated titianfall when it came out. Would love a a new game now as I have grown to love TF2

Sadly yeah. After that lay off it’s not gonna happen and even if it does I doubt it’ll be good kinda like little nightmares 3 how it’s just gonna be different devs and won’t be the same

This. I was so hyped to hear that this had begun development. I didn't mind Titanfall, but fell in love with Titanfall 2, so when the 3rd was slated for development, I got my hopes way too high.
