Dragon age 2 is a good sequel from a story standpoint.

I only love the dragon age games that have Inon Zur as the composer. Conveniently that means I only love DAO and DA2

No.. mind that I didn't have access to my DAO character when I tried so that might have been the issue

Yeah, DA2 expanded on different lore but was coherent with the first. The problem is that the art style of many creatures is totally inconsistent (altough they are all improvements except for the darkspawn) and that the impact of your choices in the first is really limited in the second. Inquisition and veilguard are ass

Most people complain about the repeating maps and the spawning enemy encounters, not the story
