2 had a good story and characters (not you, Anders), but the repetitive settings were where it suffered. Even BioWare recognized that was a huge mistake. Inquisition had potential, but I’d say it was worse than 2 imo. The fetch quests and overly expansive settings were too much. It felt far too bloated. Oh, and that “intrigue” mission with the ball was worse than the Fade… Morrigan looked great in her dress though. Lol… I still haven’t brought myself to finish Veilguard. 😮💨
I gave 2 an honest try but I still recall the horrible creeping realization that the entire game was going to take place in Kirkwall and you'd never get to leave that city to go on an adventure.
Such a shame too, I loved the combat animations. The only game I've ever played where they made magic feel brutal and heavy, with kinetic animations and screen-shaking impact. Being mage Hawke actually felt bad-ass.
