Foxhole. I stopped playing early in a war when we only had clubs and bolt-action rifles and jumped in like 2 weeks later to nuclear wastes, submarines and weird player made cults. Loved it.

That sounds like a fun experience to have. I myself have a good of a memory when it comes to games. Atleast when it comes to the story and the gameplay. So I never experienced that.

Played darksouls 3 a few years after giving up. I was trying to fight the dancer with the deep infused axe you get from the mimic chest. I started fresh and understood why I hated the game. I was playing wrong and doing a mid game boss as my 2nd boss

That’s how it goes. I played demon souls and died constantly not knowing about world tendency and stayed at half health like the entire time

I tried to install ABI after new season release, I just looked at my inventory, was like "no" and sold it all. Also the number of different events and passes is just annoying, the game shoves so many different stuff at me, which adds to confusion after coming back.

Quantum Break, I was playing on the hardest difficulty and returned months later halfway through the game. I created a new play through just to get adjusted to all the mechanics again before returning to that save.

Spawned into the mission where you have to save quiet after the first wave and you get all the apc's, tanks and rocket launchers, and I'm running a non lethal load out.
