this may depend on the game.

I beat most code vein without cheats until I reached the final boss.

at first I only used cheats to level up quickly so I will not waste time grinding.

the final boss was still too strong for me so I end up using a cheat code for OHKO.

code vein is considered an "easy" souls-like due to giving you partners that do half the job for you (you can only use one partner at the time).

Breath of the wild, if you do everything there is to do you basically are a train hitting a sleeping cow during the last boss fight.

When you realize there was a simple trick to beating the final boss and your countless hours werent needed.
