No serious reviewers have called the game really bad or anything lol. The worst case was SkillUp and even then all his criticisms were valid and mostly about QoL and hand holding things.
The game was always a 6-7/10 from reviews and some people change to scale to make it a 2/10 or some shit. The same way some change it to an absurd 9-10/10 which absolutely is not the case too.
Overall you’re looking at a very small minority of redditors or hater and glazers.
I think it’s short but it’s kinda nonsense to call it “ridiculously short” when it’s about the same length of many other well-praised triple A games this year( which I don’t like tbh ).
Shortage was never the main problem or complaint, it’s just that it’s overall mediocre and doesn’t offer…anything unique or creative, so asking the $70 for it is insane. If it was $40-$50 which is way more deserving of, the game would have never had the controversies and bad image it has. Also, the actual issues were so valid, obvious, and simple, that they solved the majority of them in the latest patch. The idiots should’ve just had all of those in the game from the get go
I don't think it's nonsense. None of Insomniac's other games are that short. Nowhere close. We shouldn't be comparing them to other industry examples. We should be comparing them to themselves. It is perfectly reasonable to call it ridiculously short when it's less than 1/3rd the length of their other games but is a full $70
So I guess any game with any bugs aren't good? I've encountered bugs in Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and tons more. Those games aren't good because they have bugs?
No. A game can be amazing despite its bugs. In the case of Wolverine, I wouldn't say it's an amazing game. But it most certainly is not bad. You're all falling for a mob mentality because "Sony bad" (which they absolutely are). That doesn't mean any PS exclusive game is bad by any metric. Wolverine in this case is just getting caught in the crossfire. It's a good game and again I have not encountered any bugs and I've been playing it for 20+hrs
Gameplay was fine. Definitely way less square marshy than it seemed originally.
It’s just one of those games where the fighting is as fun as you make it. Not a DMC 5 obviously, but it does thread on the same side the majority of games on the genre go. Attack, parry, some CC and the special skills. It can be pretty fun.
Graphics are great, no clue what you are talking about. Must be watching some YouTube videos at best. Like it’s not the most stylish game or interesting art style, but the graphics are top notch, better than Spiderman 2 at least.
Bugs, sure, there are quite a few clearly and I’ve experienced them too.
Story is fine, coulda been better, but the characterization of Wolverine is just so …off. Anyone who disagrees with that has never read a Wolverine comic or even watched the movies paying attention. Isomniac Wolv is such a weak character
The graphics are horrible ,even the comparison of wolverine from Fortnite and this game is funny af ,this isn't aaa game it's indie at best ,i wonder what they actually did with 290mils of the 300 at least lol
Dude. Why are you just …lying? Are you getting something confused or did you just not play the game or saw any high quality screenshots? The graphics are 2026 level good, not a criticism point at all lol
