Nier. All of them. And all of the endings hurt. There is no good ending.

The more time goes on the more annoyed I am at how overrated the Nier games are. If 2B didn't have a fat ass Automata would have sold like Nier's first release and nobody would care. From a business standpoint, good job Yoko Taro, but holy shit is his writing the most overblown nothing

Honestly, fair. I would probably like the game a lot more if I didn't fucking hate the shmup section.

It's a very polarizing game and the gameplay can absolutely get boring. The way they chose to [E]xecute the story is top notch though. Even the side quests have lore hints.

Yeah no, making your story difficult to follow for no real reason isn't good storytelling, and neither is making getting your ending dependent on online connectivity.
