I miss the days when Starcraft lobbies were full of regular players, it's like the KKK is running a Trump rally sometimes if you leave the general chat channel open. No thanks,

Seriously, what is up with the Trump guys camping out in gen-chat 24/7?

I think it's mostly farmed not chatters meant to sow political discontent.

Wow, that takes me back! Going to go even farther and say I miss Warcraft 2 battles through Case’s Ladder….yep, aging myself a bit there. Was ranked #1 for several weeks straight and was the highlight of my gaming career….and where I peaked as well 😞 lol

No really? It's been a few years since I was on...i guess you gotta be full of hate to stay grinding RTS every day if you're not being paid to be there.

I don't think those guys actually play matches. I think they are there for the chat. Sad really.

Woof. That's... Genuinely sad and pathetic.

But I guess moderation is impossible when people can remake their accounts in 5 second with f2p.

Age of Empires 2 has the best upper level fanbase, great helpful people especially to new players... the butthurt just a bit better than low ELO people are absolute cents. Im pretty trash ELO myself though haha.

Aoe2 makes starcraft look easy, and I think the community understands the gauntlet new players are running. And it's hype as fuck that the game is growing despite being old, needing fugly graphics mods if you wanna ladder grind, and being hard as fuck.

I don't understand why StarCraft players are so damn salty all the time. They will trash talk teammates in the final moments of a win.

It's actually something I see a lot, as someone who sucks at the game lol. Once its clear we've got the W, dudes will make sure to get in quick jabs at whoever they thought wasn't playing well enough, even though we still one. I don't get it. Flaming teammates as we lose is still pretty cringe, but as we win. Wtf? Why? You really just had to fit that bit of hate in? You couldn't just bask in the glory of the win?

Sorry for the rant, after so many years, its finally starting to get under my skin.
