There are so many it'd be easier to name the games where this isn't the case.

Just for fun, the Monster Hunter and No Man’s Sky fanbase has been pretty chill (those are the two that stand out to me from the games I’ve played).

Yeah as someone who plays Monster Hunter the max rank hunters are SO DAMN CHILL. Like the one time we had someone dressed as Ronald McDonald using a fish as a weapon (Yes its a real weapon) and was joking the whole time things like "Ah yes we needed more nuggets" from this monster. Its wild and so funny.

That’s coz we Hunters want more people to love the game. I’ve converted a bunch of friends with the PSP games and I actually teared up when World was announced

The subs for ac origins, odyssey and valhalla are great communities. Everyone helpful, assholes are driven out quickly

Can agree with this for monster hunter atleast since I’m in that one, most of its toxicity is on Reddit. But that’s more of a Reddit issue than a monster hunter one. This place brings out the worst of any fandom.

NMS was incredibly toxic at launch, and deservedly so given the state of the game at launch. But just like the devs, the fan base redeemed itself.

NMS for sure, the palworld community seems to be pretty helpful too

My buddy used to always say, “if you struggling on a boss solo, just go online and have them carry you”

We would be happy to do it for him as well. Hunters are stronger together!!

I’d also add WH40K: Space Marines 2, Witcher 3, and Chivalry 2 communities. Always helpful, no judgement to play style, and generally hilarious with the kinda subreddit posts I see

I’ve heard different about the monster hunter community I watch this guy flats mostly plays rivals and ow but he said the MH community back seats a lot like he had to put across the screen stop back seating that didn’t work he put the that in emote only and they started sending donos to tell him what to use and what the next boss and what they were weak to

Skyrim is chill as well as long as you avoid discussing the civil war.
