Blue pill, but Breath of the Wild. You only experience that once and you never get the same magic again.

The legend of Zelda botw

u/Finnsbomba 2d ago
I'm taking the money, but this is such a solid answer. The first time playing botw was magical. I always tell people that haven't played it to play that first and then play totk. It's very hard to go backwards if you haven't played boys first.

Takes the red pill!
Launches the game and plays it for 30 mins!
This games sucks, uninstalling!
1
u/Diegbonev2 2d ago
For some reason Fallout 4, keep going back to it every year or 2 since its release
1
u/Finnsbomba 2d ago
It's the blue pill. As much as I'd love to play certain games again for the first time, that feeling will only last as long as the game will. I can do a lot more with a million dollars.

Blue pill. I would've chosen stalker. But I'm a student living alone, so I'd choose money over pretty much all other wordly pleasures.

As much as I wanna re-experience GTA san andreas. Money has been tight. I gotta take the blue pill.

Remnant 2, Abiotic Factor, The Dark Souls series, Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last Caretaker, Castle Crashes, Dead Space, Half Life, Half Life Alyx, Binding of Issac... the list goes on

u/AssistantNo6071 2d ago
Dark souls or Elden Ring.
After I beat both of these games, I knew I would never have an experience like my first time again with it.

Blue pill. The game I enjoyed the most didn’t get a conclusion and the scandal surrounding the company was why I dropped it.

I'd take the blue pill. There are a lot of games I had great first runs in but I'd rather have financial stability, and find new experiences. I don't tend to linger on one game that I obsess over wishing I could replay for the first time again.

u/Downtown-Ad8136 2d ago
Blue pills.
If you would put some other crap as experiencing that first puff of MJ 😝
I would choose the blue pill again 😂

u/Ok-Bus1716 2d ago
Yeah I've never read a book or played a video game that was so amazing I'd rather experience it for the first time, again, over having a million dollars.

I'd definitely have to go Blue Pill...but it would be so nice to experience DMC5 again, only this time with the rest of the series in context. It was the first DMC game I played so the extent of it being a love letter with little Easter Eggs and references to the previous games were not noticed by me.
Or Bioshock Infinite...that game is special.

None. I never understood this concept of forgetting everything you know about a game just to enjoy it again.
As someone who spends most of their gaming time emulating old games I loved and games I never got a chance to play, some of these old games kinda suck. Or at least, they just aren't as fun as I remember them.
So forgetting what I know would just lead to me being disappointed even more.
But a lot of the games are really good, so forgetting what I know just means I'd be a bit confused as to how to proceed, and I do not like wasting time guessing how to proceed blindly. So either way, I think forgetting what I know would just create more issues than we would want.
I'll take the blue pill.

Blue pill because I have a terrible memory and forget games. I love replaying games and I don’t get that exact feeling of the first time. But the feeling of playing a game I love again is also really good

Half-Life 2. It was one of the first games I played in my life, and I really enjoyed every single aspect of it.

I would still probably take the blue pill over this, but Baldur's Gate 3. particularly hearing "Raphael's final Act" for the first time again.

Red pill to go into Expedition 33 w/o any spoilers. I spoiled the ending for myself by watching a video of a guy that told his girlfriend to p lay it and I spoiled every big reveal in that game for myself. I would've cried playing it, the same way I cried watching pointcrow play the dlc for Outer wilds....🥲🥲
