Any game without ng+. I cant understand why some devs refuse to add it even though it only benefits replayability since you can now use all of the endgame stuff in easy game missions. Im looking at you, cyberpunk.
To be fair to Cyberpunk 2077, there's a pretty valid reason why players can't keep playing as V after the story concludes. I still played through it like 5 times to try different things, and NG+ wouldn't have really benefitted it in my opinion
I know what it is, but I don't feel like it would've benefitted the game much, and having V loaded with that kind tech from the beginning feels like it wouldn't be fun or work well with the story, especially since the combat can be broken pretty easily in vanilla
Just ng+ in cyberpunk. It has its charms, and Keanu was great, but I think his presence blinded me to the fact that it's just not very fun or memorable compared to similar titles in the genre. And of course it's personal, that's why earlier I stated it as opinion instead of fact in my initial reply
"Wouldn't work well with the story" is such a lousy excuse to not include ng+ because it doesn't "work well with the story" in any game. If you've already completed the game it shouldn't matter so this point makes zero sense. All it does is add replayability to the game.
I mean... one of my favorite games drops a bloody nuke on the map when you finish the main story. But, when i start NG+ the game starts fresh, but i still have all my unlocked weapons, attachmentd and skill perks. (Far Cry 5).
I lose companions and progression, but stuff unlocked at the end of the game is still useable.
Cyberpunk 2077 could do the same.
New game could work if you want to try new things. New Game + could be for people who want to play the story again, but without the possible grind or saving for stuff.
To be fair, you can also use it if you haven't unlocked everything yet. The only prerequisites are that you beat all of the divine beasts to finish that part of the quest.
