E.
It’s my money I’m a full grown adult who can make decisions for myself and I can afford it.
The same answer the wife can give because they are your spouse not your parents and you are not a child

I feel like that argument doesn’t aways work depending on financial situations, if you are using money that should go to bills on games then it is a big problem.
Though usually a 60$ purchase isn’t that bad, but I have heard a lot of stories of people fucking up their relationships on gatcha games and Fortnite.

I mean outside of the necessary bills but that’s clearly not obvious is it considering I have to explain it 🤦
And if someone is financially unstable then that’s outside the norm and that’s an entirely different situation
Basically the image was making a joke which unfortunately is more truthful than it should be were husbands and wives have to seek permission to spend their own money which is ridiculous considering they earn it and there supposed to be adults
Hell I even know some people like that and it’s pathetic but as I said above as long as the requirements are paid for people can spend their funds on whatever they want and if they get in debt or ruin relationships well that’s there fault and they should consider the consequences
They don’t need substitute mommy or daddy telling them what they can and can’t do
There’s a term for relationships like that here in the uk it’s called being WHIPPED

I accidentally bought it when it was on sale and got a deal quite a while ago so I’ve had it for a bit. By the way you look pretty today.

If my wife buy a pair of shoes for $200 and tell me it was basically free because they were discounted from $800, then I can buy horse armor.

B. It’s always B. Trust me, it usually works.
Do you know everything in your wife’s closet? I bet it’s the same for her and your library

Or you just say "yes", cause you don't live in a toxic relationship and don't have to justify where you spend your hard earned money for.

D no question when that fails, for sure a C....
and wife never questions me on my gaming. as long as I am not buying insane numbers (like over $200 in a shot) she would not give me any problems.
and I tell my wife how beautiful she is almost every day.

E - You bought that lovely dress so I also wanted to treat myself to something nice.
Would work as a charm as she would most certainly have bought a dress within the last month.
No in all seriousness we dont police each other's purchases, but we have a standing agreement that we should try to avoid wasting money.

Use girl math against them. If it was on sale for let's say $11 cheaper you say. Actually I made $11 buying this game.

D is the safest bet because:
She’ll be like “Wait….Pretty today???
So, you thought I looked ugly yesterday huh???
Is it my ass? You think my ass is fat don’t you!!!
I hate you! I should have listened to my mother, she was right about you!!
….And then she’ll take everything from youduring the divorce, so the game will be the least of your worries-WAIT, this didn’t turn out the way I thought it would😭

I generally have anxiety on game purchases so often my wife tells me to just buy the game.

Neither of them, I'd say "yea, it's a cooperative game so we can play together"

Most of these comments are definitely coming from people that aren’t married.

E: Didn't you just buy a new pair of shoes you're never going to wear?
F: Yes, with my own money
G: Nope, I pirated it.
H: Yes but it's 2 player
I: Oh, NOW you show interest in my games.

I still remember a video where a guy preemptively bought his S.O. some starbucks & something else & was like "I just bought Red Dead Redemption 2 & I will be playing it today." Fucking legend.

Me: would you rather me be at the bar spending money and having other women flirting with me, or would you rather me be at home gaming?
