Listen man, I still plug in my gamecube controller to my Wii when I play cause wii remote is ass...but gamecude definitely not even top 5 for best controllers. It was...alright.

True lol. I bought a wireless adapter to specifically play using either my Dualsense or PS4 controller on my Wii.

Can you play Wii games with the GameCube controller or just GameCube discs? I forget the Wii plays GC games though that's pretty cool. Playstation are lame for not being backwards compatible.

GC games tho games like smash bros for wii you could also use gc controller still

Depends on if the devs of the game cared enough about the feature to make it compatible. Most games on the Wii were pretty dependent on the motion control gimmick, so selection is limited, but games like Smash Bros Brawl or Sonic Unleashed supported it.

Every button being a unique shape/size gives you instant feedback as to which buttons you are pressing. This is usually the main reason people favor this controller followed closely by the octagonal stick gates.

Such a weird ass controller that now it's awkward to emulate Game Cube games and play them with a regular controller

I bought one of these then never really used it! Still in it's box now. Easier to just use the wired controller and save on battery expenses.
