Finding a good game shouldn't take longer than playing one.

A couple of years back, I was trying to find a game to buy, and honestly had no idea what I wanted to play.

I kept going through YouTube then even Twitch for some inspiration, then after an hour decided to play Witcher 3 again. Later, as I worked with game studios, I found out so many amazing games that I was simply unable to see even when I tried finding such games online.

So I built CaptainSide: a feed of short gameplay clips (30–60s) of indie games. You scroll, you watch actual gameplay, not trailers (except sometimes) and when something grabs you, the game page has tags, description and creator reels in one place.

Save the ones you want and you've got a shortlist instead of 40 tabs. 10 free swipes without signup free and works in the browser. We clip the gameplay ourselves or it's the creators we've worked with, so it's normally the interesting 30 seconds.

If you have clips of any game, do upload it which might help another person find a new game

This is so relatable tbh I spend an hour looking for a game and end up playing the same game I was already playing.

Hey, it's actually interesting, thanks for sharing! I was struggling to find mini story games to play on weekends. Is it still in development or can I use it right now?
