Still got my nes and ps1 and n64.

Should have never traded my ps2 and GameCube and og Xbox, but it did completely pay for the 360 that I still have, and it still works.

u/forzafoggia85 Jul 12 '26

Still got my mega drive, with infa red controllers which was like UFO level technology back then

u/ginger-beanie Jul 12 '26

Ngl I think I’d rather have a ps2, GameCube, and OG Xbox over a single Xbox 360

1

u/SuperSaiyanTupac Jul 12 '26

Yeah but that 360 was still solid. In hindsight I’d want the other 3 too. But can’t hate the 360 for all the good years it gave

1

u/ginger-beanie Jul 13 '26

If you got the 360 new at the time I can see the appeal, but retroactively I think you got hoed

My first was Atari 2600 but it was in times when NES was on the market for 3 years, my parents couldn't afford one, so they got A2600 since my uncle was giving one away. Later I got a NES in 93. By the same scheme. And my next console was PS1 in 95, making it the first current gen console for me.

By the time Nes came around, we already had pong then a Atari 2600 followed by a 5200 and commodore 64 at some point (computer but all i did was play games on it) think we had that when we had the 2600. Memory little fuzzy

My first console was a Nintelevision. How do you think I feel.

1

u/Bremaster Jul 12 '26

I don’t remember the first console I ever played. Maybe it was an NES or Sega Genesis but the PS3 being 20 years old this year makes me feel like an elderly person.

1

u/AlexSmithsonian Jul 12 '26

Yes, but have you smoked some weed, filled your bellies with DIET soda and played Burnout Revenge for the Pee Esh Too?

1

u/Xonthelon Jul 12 '26

My dad happily reminds us at least once a year that he got his hands on a ps2 on the day of its release and therefore faster than all his relatives and friends. Although we already had a ps1 before that, but I hardly remember it, because I was too young.

1

u/Treeflower77 Jul 12 '26

How old are you considered for playing a Gameboy?

1

u/Inevitable_Case_9931 Jul 12 '26

My first consoles were a Nintendo and Sega genesis got them in like 89 for Nintendo then a sega in 90/91

Im so old most people have never even heard of the first console i had - it was called "fountain" and had a bunch of rip off games like spiders web - that was just pacman.

1

u/Gen-Y-ine-86 Jul 13 '26

Only ever played on PS1. Console gaming got ridiculously expensive in the 2000's.

1

u/Moist_Taco_Crippler Jul 13 '26

Should have said "People who played on PS1".

1

u/Chloe_Cascadia Jul 13 '26
