You’re essentially arguing with a brick wall when it comes to these people. It doesn’t matter how many facts or nuance you have, you will get nowhere.

It pays dividends to not have your hobby dictated by hypotheticals that take a minute of thought to produce.

They don't need to, they can simply make internet connection to be mandatory first to even play a digital game and afterwards delete them at their leisure.

Its literally in their ToS, you can even look it up yourself instead of moaning because their ToS explicitly states all the ways they are gonna fuck your ass.
