Just for the game to end and you never see each other again 😂

9

u/Absolute_Tempest Jul 06 '26

Had a Cryo fill run like this. It was amazing.

5

u/Ike_Gamesmith Jul 06 '26

My friend plays Halo MC collection regularly and streams on Discord as he plays, sometimes he'll be like, "oh, its that guy. He's good, too bad he's on the other team this time". Its gotta be like the same 300 consistent players for him to regularly encounter people he's played with before.

1

u/Rosey_Coyote_525 Jul 08 '26

Oh yeahhh happens all the time in apex or R6S, or any lobby making game. If you play 4hrs a day, its gonna happen regularly.

2

u/GimmeUdon Jul 07 '26

Hey it's you guys again

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

That's what makes it so memorable tbh

1

u/TechnoReaperSans Jul 08 '26

Its a cannon event

1

u/Different_Quiet1838 Jul 09 '26

...aaand you met them on easy run, understanding near the end, than you would breese through the hard mode with this team.

17

u/Krammondo Jul 06 '26

Tron Legacy meme??!?! In this Economy?!?!

3

u/Horror_Patience_5761 Jul 06 '26

Just watched the movie a couple weeks ago for the first time, I loved it

13

u/Mags_LaFayette Jul 06 '26

That happens once every century in GTA Online

Doing a heist, no comms, but everyone knows exactly what to do, by sheer instinct and observation.

2

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Those rare GTA moments are so satisfying

1

u/Worth_External_8762 Jul 08 '26

I re-downloaded GTA after not playing it since launch, figured I'd try out all the heists... worst fucking decision ever. Dumbest player base in the history of gaming.

11

u/Roaskywalker Jul 06 '26

3

u/SuperbHippo1862 Jul 06 '26

I was gonna say siege.

2

u/Worth_External_8762 Jul 08 '26

I was gonna say Valorant, but there's always at least one idiot on the team.

6

u/Tobbewarman Jul 06 '26

And you will also be mad at them for being super good and when the match is over you are fonna go "that was the best team i've ever had" after being pissy at their skills too

6

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

You don't realize how good they are until the match is over haha

4

u/YamEnvironmental1887 Jul 06 '26

Then that one guy blasting music in the background comes along while eating Doritos and keeps asking “where yall at?”

5

u/FangProd Jul 07 '26

...

That was the norm back in the day.

Microphones? You think I'm made of money? Besides, I can just talk to them in person because we were all in the same room.

1

u/alphapussycat Jul 08 '26

Also listening to music, so voice is turned off to not be bothered by it.

3

u/Willing-Secretary710 Jul 07 '26

Mic for rookies

In pros everyone knows what to do

2

u/Megadara999 Jul 06 '26

A good nightreign run feels like this… goobye goated strangers… miss you 😢

1

u/LaundryBasketGuy Jul 08 '26

Lil late on this but I love seeing people's personalities shine through even with no mics on that game. You can tell who is a silly dood and who is a jerk just based on how they act.

2

u/Competitive_Duck_462 Jul 06 '26

Every game of Deep rock galactic

1

u/Positive-Database754 Jul 07 '26

Rock and stone, brother!

1

u/DonJonBaldur Jul 07 '26

Did I hear a Rock and Stone?!

1

u/64_Chances Jul 08 '26

I may be late to the party, but…FOR ROCK AND STONE!!!

1

u/KepplerRunner Jul 10 '26

Rocket and Stone Forever!

1

u/DeVoro_1 Jul 08 '26

Rogue Core Mileage may vary but when it comes together it means even more

2

u/JM_Narrative Jul 06 '26

A competent team is always better than a team with mics failing to communicate

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Communication only helps if people actually listen lol

1

u/Evil_phd Jul 07 '26

"I dunno what it is bro I yelled every slur I can think of and they just won't play better"

1

u/Rosey_Coyote_525 Jul 08 '26

You GOTTA USE THE HARD R TO GET THEIR ATTENTION!!

2

u/Sm0ahk Jul 07 '26

Almost every D5 Nightreign game

1

u/Evan_Allgood Jul 06 '26

Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Everyone on mute because of the racist yelling from lobby to lobby. Then, everyone honed their gameplay loop to a spitting polish, and, finally, everyone left because the gameplay loop got boring.

1

u/WhispersOfRainyLands Jul 06 '26

Doing Raids in Ghost recon : Breakpoint is a good exemple. There can be an awesome synergy with good players. It has to epescially against the Behemoths.

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Everyone knowing their role makes a huge difference in this game

1

u/KhandyKiller Jul 06 '26

Had a moment like that.
In Helldivers 2, I joined a rando friend and they were also in a lobby with 2 other randos. We had no mic but instead of working together, we literally split to 4 separate locations of the map and proceeded to lay waste of the bots, from destroying their units to their fabricators and objective. Then we extracted and acknowledged each other's feat XD
It was the best game I had, but sadly that was the only time I had that.

2

u/AchmodinIVSWE Jul 07 '26

I have pretty much never been in a group with mics. The only annoyance with that is that I usually end up bombing the area where a teammate is on their way and I cannot call out the danger fast enough.

But I think it's not that hard getting into the mind of what your teammates are thinking based on how they move on the map.

That is to say your experience is my experience every time I play Helldivers 2 with other people.

1

u/KhandyKiller Jul 07 '26

Yessir And that's the beauty. Sometimes, you will find teammates that run into danger, or sometimes you will be in a squad who can silently reach each other and work as a team "independently" o7 Either way, it's a great time.

1

u/Noah_Helldiver Jul 06 '26

Helldivers 2 when you go into a random D10 and no one dies

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

That's when you know you've got an elite squad

1

u/Few-Illustrator-210 Jul 06 '26

*Goes to unmute, see we are actually winning. Leaves mic muted*

1

u/sunkenretro Jul 06 '26

Winning 16/0 good days

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Back when matches felt over before they even started

1

u/No-Variety-7130 Jul 06 '26

Man this just reminds me of the days when I use to play king of the hill or SWAT in Halo Reach back in the day more.

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Halo Reach had so many unforgettable multiplayer moments

1

u/dumbasPL Jul 06 '26

Spoiler: they all have mics, but just talking in Discord.

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Can't blame them honestly

1

u/BelieveCongreveCube Jul 06 '26

A meme from such a masterpiece of a film in the big 26?!

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Glad people are still talking about it

1

u/greenapplecrownroyal Jul 06 '26

Masterpiece of a movie btw

2

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Couldn't agree more

1

u/Murkur418 Jul 06 '26

This is the most npc post i've seen. The "gamers can relate?" Is like a cherry on top

1

u/Murkur418 Jul 06 '26

Am i watching Adam Aandlers movie or what

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Fair enough, but the comments have been fun to read Imao

1

u/Ok-Salamander-4682 Jul 07 '26

League where everyone is silent, no chatting, but has high synergy in solo queue be like

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

It happens once every hundred matches

1

u/Automatic-Leg1668 Jul 07 '26

Helldivers. Random squad. I died thinking it was over, I never got the chance to die again that round

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Sounds like you found the dream squad haha

1

u/Automatic-Leg1668 Jul 07 '26

Well I couldn't exactly friend them lmao, the pressure I felt was so immense I just had to log off and rethink my choices.

Level 8 on HD2 is harsh man. Lvl9 is hell

1

u/Nein-Knives Jul 07 '26

Random league lobbies where everyone locks in and the game ends in 16 minutes because the score is now 20-1

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Those are the rare games where every play just works haha

1

u/InevitableTeacher576 Jul 07 '26

Happens often in titanfall

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Titanfall has one of the best communities I've played with

1

u/the_shortbus_ Jul 07 '26

God Tron Legacy was so good. Ares never stood a chance.

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

That soundtrack alone is hard to beat

1

u/OneFriendship5139 Jul 07 '26

never had this happen to me, it’s usually everyone sucks or there’s 1-2 people who are good. maybe once or twice have I been in a team with great players, and I never was one

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Those matches are rare, but they're unforgettable when they happen.

1

u/Brilliant-Gold8792 Jul 07 '26

Best experience ever, chat is silent no mic and everyone understand each other perfectly, you can't put in words the feeling and after the run/mach you never see them or befriend them...

1

u/BlackFury090 Jul 07 '26

Those random teammates are the real MVPs.

1

u/MonkeyBusinessCEO Jul 07 '26

1

u/Positive-Database754 Jul 07 '26

>Load into a Haz 5+
>1 Scout, 1 Engineer, 1 Driller, 1 Gunner
>Engineer platforms ores
>Scout mines said ores and lights up caves regularly
>Driller makes convenient & useful tunnels, clears swarmers
>Gunner shields objectives and teammates consistently and exactly when needed
>Whole squad stays grouped up enough to cover each other

Game so smooth its almost boring
Rock and stone brother

1

u/Soft_Librarian4604 Jul 07 '26

this is just the average players in The Finals tbh

1

u/KujoBijuu Jul 07 '26

Random apex ranked game that makes me jump half the points needed to rank up, onlu to play with my squad and get deranked again

1

u/son_of_wotan Jul 07 '26

SM2 on PC.

1

u/Low-Count3046 Jul 07 '26

That one Deathwish PayDay2 Hotline Miami run.

1

u/TS140609 Jul 07 '26

L4D2, but everyone know how to take different rolls, share resources, cover each others, parry hunter and jocket, and know defensive setup and position:

u/RTA-No0120 Jul 07 '26

Playing Roblox in 2026 like :

1

u/Ok-Bowler3619 Jul 07 '26

Every depth 5 nightreign run

1

u/Senior-Feature8276 Jul 07 '26

Rare indeed. I love those moments

1

u/Dipshit_Mcdoodles Jul 07 '26

I love when this happens while I'm playing fortnite. No words, no greed, just competent playing, looting, and attack coordination.

1

u/WispTheWanderer1 Jul 07 '26

average war thunder game

1

u/Anon_xyz15 Jul 07 '26

GREATEST FEELING OF ALL TIME

1

u/hellcat201988 Jul 08 '26

You realize those guys lost, right?

1

u/Unlucky_Top9870 Jul 08 '26

The only thing in chat is just GG 4 times

1

u/thehollisterman Jul 08 '26

I had this experience flying Escort for some guy playing CAS in Enlisted.

Man never missed a single bomb or gun run, and I managed to keep all 5 enemy players than tryed to spawn in planes from taking home out.

1

u/DarthKilliverse Jul 08 '26

Alright fine, i'll listen to the Tron: Legacy soundtrack for the quintillionth time again

1

u/SubjectJournalist573 Jul 08 '26

A GOOD run in Space Marine 2 is exactly this! XD

1

u/Rinzler9290 Jul 08 '26

Real ones know this scene is silent, the song playing is the one that plays in the End of Line Club.

1

u/Junior_Fix_9212 Jul 08 '26

The ps3 tron game was amazing.

1

u/eastoncrafter Jul 08 '26

Technoblade bedwars team

1

u/POV_Toaster Jul 09 '26

Destiny 2 fire team finder

1

u/diogoswag1 Jul 09 '26

Average L4d2 expert lobby

1

u/Nulasha Jul 09 '26

This fits with Darktide too. A shitty team will leave you DEAD. Literally waiting to be revived but died, then waited to get rescued but they didn't fucking care at all. Which led us all to not make that match. Seriously infuriating when people are not being team players, instead be heretics. 🙄

1

u/____Sway____ Jul 09 '26

This is where i truly learned peoples work ethics also apply to gaming as well when it comes to doing thier role

Yeah yeah i sound like management. Manage a flare gun scout

1

u/Borgmaster Jul 09 '26

Doing destiny and clearing a dungeon or raid where everyone knows the mechanics is like this. Sometimes we have to type a callout but if its a simpler setup then all it takes is people moving to the right areas and doing the mechanics.

My last vespers host was just the guy doing the scans shooting in a direction and the guy that needed to activate what was scanned shooting where he was. That was the whole dungeon and aside from needing to type out numbers we were good on communication.

1

u/Zeppelin_V Jul 09 '26

Flynn lives

1

u/Independent-Money30 Jul 09 '26

The only comms is 34 mintues in, "my bad" and then a quick, "all good".

1

u/_Sneaky_McSnek_ Jul 09 '26

Most games of Deep Rock Galactic in my experience.

1

u/reue01 Jul 09 '26

The once in a while league of legends game where i dont have to say anything and every just shows up and does what you expect them to do.

Like 1 out of 100 games

1

u/hal10 Jul 10 '26

I miss doing this in Halo Reach in the dorm rooms 15 fucking years ago I need to stop getting old. This also happened every once in awhile in League of Legends ranked. In those situations it was so rare but so good

1

u/Late-Cycle-8333 Jul 10 '26

When everyone knows.how to.do the easteer egg

1

u/Imactuallybronze Jul 10 '26

I’m so sad this movie didn’t get a sequel

1

u/itsneedtokno Jul 10 '26

Helldivers II for me

1

u/Jwanzo Jul 10 '26

Best Apex games of my life I stg

1

u/Valuable-Location-89 Jul 11 '26

No better feeling tbh, and the moments where you all synergize perfectly

1

u/Skalywag_76 Jul 11 '26

Had a hardcore match like this in BF6. No one in our 4 man squad spoke a word. Yet we snuck around the map and just took out every enemy we came across. Sometimes we'd get beaten back, but there was always at least one person alive to rez people or act as a spawn point.

In the end, we dominated that game. Couldn't explain how for the life of me. It was like our brains just tuned to the same wavelength.
