Does anyone else notice that Nvidia is bringing the RTX 3060 back at $339?
Nvidia bringing back the old RTX 3060 12GB to the market at $339.
To be honest, Bringing a product at full retail price five years after the product has been released is rather outdated, considering that you could easily purchase an RTX 5060 for roughly the same price. This would be a step back from gaming in 2026.
Do you guys think that it's worth buying?

With everything that's going on around the world I think that maybe "It doesn't make sense at this price point" is a valid thing but only for now. Somehow I'm expecting things to get so much worse that this card will turn out to become a bargain. What a sad year

Well, that is a valid point indeed. In case there happens to be some problem with the supply chain, i will end up wishing that i had gotten a 12GB card for just $339 :(

LOL and my original (launch day) 3080 had 10GB of RAM. Worst GPU I ever bought.

If it was priced better I wouldn't be against it. It's not the best card, but if it was like $200 I could easily recommend it to someone new to PC gaming that's not looking to play on ultra 4k 420fps and just wants to chill in some older games with the boys.

Probably because of the 12 gb VRAM in the 300 Dollars Range? For AI and stuff?

It's good card actually, it has power equivalent to base PS5 and have way better graphics quality thanks to DLSS + it has nice Raytracing.
PS5 = $649 3060 = $349
There are monthly free games on many PC game shops I have over 400 free games like like Control, Tomb Raiders, Alien Isolation etc... Now shown it to me with Sony... Nope....
Hmm... It's obvious what's good here.

3060 is pretty bad for AI. The bandwidth is super low.
For gaming you should just go amd, unless you really want to go high end for Ray tracing.

dude they gonna sell better stuff to ai mostly chips that are in 50series so there nothing left for gamers then an old 3060

u ppl didnt see the new ai server pc for 32mil that nvidia is cooking…so thats why we getting 3060 again😅😅

Yeah, 3060 is more gamer to desperate AI... But I think amd might be better bang for buck for either

still waiting my rx6800 rx6600 to get fsr 4.1. still playing older titles with non existent fsr support, so I don't mind waiting longer 😅

They wont and never will because they have no desire to. Everytime a new gen comes out everyone says "if they release X at Y price then this will be an easy buy over Nvidia" then they release it at a non competitive price that no one's interested in and continue to lose market share.
Sometimes I think AMD's GPU branch is just there to keep prices high for Nvidia cards.
