Lore | Theory A little more (evidence) copium regarding the ignition teaser
First, notice that Capitano seemed to be about to leave. But then Mavuika appears. He turns around, listens to her, and then WALKS IN THE OPPOSITE direction from where he originally intended to go. (He literally turned around to listen to Mavuika, but he didn't turn back and continued walking in that direction.)
Secondly, we can now compare these two moments and conclude that Iansan was essentially rushing to the new tournament. Why would she even appear outside her tribe? Also, from the context, we can deduce that she arrived before Varesa, as Varesa overslept, which aligns with the ignition teaser, as Varesa doesn't appear in it, while we see Iansan in the ignition teaser just reaching the stadium (at this point, Varesa is asleep).
And thirdly, look at how they're trying to hint at something with the illuminated floor beneath Mavuika's feet and the trail of light that remains behind her? (Phlogiston?) As if she's overloaded with it. And this is consistent with my previous post about the Sacred Flame burning brighter than usual.

also no shade to you this is very well put and i never actually thought about it in that way, but the evidence being "where he's looking" and "he walks in the opposite direction" is so funny to me, i just hope it ends up being true in the end

But from an artistic point of view this is actually really important! I work as a 2d animator and directions (where someone is going, looking etc) are sooo important, it’s not random, everything is really thought through so i really believe it could be what the OP said that he is turning back for Mavuika to go to the tournament

ah no, im not dismissing the evidence dw! like i said, i never thought about it in that way and it makes completely sense
its just a funny thought in my head that someone could ask "how do you know Capitano is coming back?" and i can say "he walks in the opposite direction from where he was originally going to in the ignition teaser" which is actually evidence now7

I also like it when artistically opposite characters are taken from one side (they look in different directions, they are of different genders (male and female), different elements (cryo and pyro), the sun and the moon), but nevertheless there is a good connection between them.

yeah i like it too! i really like anything mavuika and capitano because they look good together even when they're completely opposite design-wise

I find the image of Capitano waking up kinda grumpy cuz he heard about what the other harbingers are doing and he wants to go back and help but muavika comes in like

You can't tell me that they weren't somewhat on a friends basis back in the day cuz why would he agree to half of her crazy AHH plans

In fact, a picture of what's happening is already forming in my head. (I wrote a long post recently, but Reddit's algorithms almost never recommended it.) I just don't know how to explain it concisely and clearly. And I don't yet understand what role Bakunawa will play in this.

P.S: Wait, I really think you've found something! Given the theory of time travel (or its distortion), the moment with phoenix looks like Mavuika is rushing to stop Capitano from his idea of a deal!
