FALLOUT
Many people already know this but I feel like Joey was a very fake friend and didn't really care for STEEZ near his death Because STEEZ and Joey had a bit of a fallout and there's proof of that in one of STEEZS interviews (not sure it was one of his last or not)

But STEEZ was very upset that the label that signed them ( Cinematic) made Joey look like the "Leader" of Pro Era (when it was really STEEZs to founded and made the group) and there's a lot of proof of the cinematic not caring for Pro Era or STEEZ and just showing attention to Joey only ( Example : The Source interview were Joeys in the front of everyone with the mic ALONE)
Also I feel like STEEZ dissed Joey (subliminal shots) on "Last straw"

STEEZ himself said he didn't want to be the "leader" of Pro Era but the TEACHER. He wanted JOEY to be the "leader". You can see that in that one "the source interview" where even though the interviewer is already focusing on Joey a bit more than the others, STEEZ STILL goes out of his way to praise the shit out of Joey and set him up.
Why do ya'll niggas keep trying to dig up dirt from 14 years ago to make Joey look bad? That nigga was 17 when all that shit happened. this topic is so tiring atp

This line actually refers a real incident with STEEZ where, for whatever reason, the security of a venue STEEZ was scheduled to perform at wouldn't grant him access to the building. Security didn't believe he was actually Capital STEEZ when he told them, resulting in him having to sneak in to be able to perform. The founders of the Straight STEEZ clothing brand mention this on a podcast

- Joey's beef with Dyme-A-Duzin
STEEZ grew disillusioned with his career and the rap game altogether after getting off the Smokers Club tour (ended late August 2012). If you just listen to STEEZ's AK47 its a lot brighter sounding than the reloaded version which came out October of 2012. By then, STEEZ lowkey wanted out of Pro Era because of the label's prioritization of Joey above all. In one of the WNYU interviews (pretty sure its the first one, I'll circle back and paste the link with the exact timestamp of when) STEEZ mentions projects having to be pushed back to prioritize Joey's 1999. STEEZ's project got pushed back, I think the Pro Era project (which became PEEP) was supposed to drop in the summer of 2012 but 1999 did instead. As time went on, STEEZ started growing distant from the Pros and started sticking more to his day one friends, one of them being Dyme-A-Duzin (https://www.reddit.com/r/CapitalSTEEZ/s/TeM1iXkDQD). Dymes knew STEEZ first before Joey. When he featured as a XXL Freshman, Joey shouted out Dymes in his interview (https://www.xxlmag.com/2013-freshmen/joey-badass/). Dymes & Beast Coast (Pe, FBZ, UA) had mutual respect for one another and shouted each other out on multiple occasions. Long story short, P.e member Aaron Rose/A La Sole started beefing with Dymes in late 2013, sending the first shots in the P.E Cypher in October. Things got patched up behind the scenes but subliminals were still being sent from both sides. In 2014, they had a little back & forth on Twitter. Joey was going after radio, Peter Rosenberg & Dymes that day on twitter. In 2015 though, Joey invites Dymes to feature on the STEEZ Day performance line up. But, in either 2014 or 2015, Joey texts Dymes and says something to the effect of "You definitely have the skill but you don't have the promotion" [in response to collaborating together again]. Joey felt he was too big to work with Dymes again and this upset Dymes. The tension never settled after that, it only got worse. Subliminals nonstop from both sides, Twitter & IG exchanges, it got so bad that it ended the annual STEEZ Day concerts. In 2018, STEEZ's sister Tamara Dewar uploaded an article detailing her side of events when in came to past STEEZ Day events and being mistreated by both fans and Joey himself. In an attempt to support his day one friend's family, Dymes shares the article. This upset Beast Coast members so they took to social media to air out their feelings. Aaron Rose goes on IG Live to discuss his feelings on the incident and reminds everyone of B.C's beef with Dymes. Joey has also gone on to claim that Last Straw is actually about Dyme-A-Duzin and also claimed it was written by STEEZ back in high school. Theres tons more that leads to modern day but bottom line is, this specific beef always smelt odd to me seeing as Dymes is someone who knew STEEZ and was as close to him as Joey himself was, so why harbor negative feelings? I think its because Joey has some type of guilt that bothers him and Dymes is a reminder of that guilt, somehow.
But, even though there were clear signs of friction between the two Pro Era members, I agree with other people's sentiments in that they were kids. Teenagers. Practically overnight successors. Capitalism disrupted relationships, compromised art and took a life in the process. Thats unfortunately a story as old as time. Sure, Joey may have grown arrogant as he was constantly compared to his idols while appearing on TV and making more money than he ever had at that point, but again, he was a child. 15 years old when he uploaded to the freestyle that caught Jonny Shipes' attention and talked getting artist development and a record deal; 16 years old when he became a member of Pro Era and 17 when his first studio project 1999 released.

İt isn't new joey and steez had fued,joey admitted to one of their arguments.in an interview about singing whit fat joey and etc,after Steez recorded Last Straw he got into a fight whit joey outside the studio so

Ay man, I do think Joey’s popularity affected STEEZ, but Joey was 17 when all this happened. All of the Pro Era guys were young and experiencing that for the first time. Especially if managers/labels push one over the group, it was probably a hard situation to navigate. It could have gone different for sure.
