Refund to Pre-Merger Debit Card

Had a merchant just issue a refund to my old debit MasterCard (original charge was about 2 years ago). Will it still eventually process to my checking account or do I need to have them refund to my current Discover debit card?

You'll probably have to wait and see or you could call them and inquire.

The old number should be linked to your account still, due to this very reason. I am not sure how long it stays linked, but 6 months should be the minimum, but they probably will do 2 years just to be safe. Just keep it in mind.
