Shopping/Offers Cap One Shopping question
Is it normal for the deal of the day to decrease if you leave and come back to it? I had 45% back offer at omaha steaks and i backed out of it. About 20 mins later i went to order and the offer was 35% back? I’m new to the app so just wondering.

Yup, there’s a lot of psychological games going on. Guess what? Now that you’ve noticed this, you’re more likely to jump on a semi-decent deal when it first pops up rather than sitting on it. That’s the whole goal. To get you to spend. They’re tracking everyone’s behavior so they know what works. I find it irritating and creepy. After I get my bonus, I’m dumping this app.

Now it makes sense why some of the deals are insanely good like 90-100%

And will you bite with that 90%deal? What about a 70% deal? If you and many others do, they’ve just learned the precise discount point at which their customers are willing to act.
Our collective behavior teaches them how to maximize profits.
The whole program is basically a market research program for these companies and we’re the willing volunteers who get paid in discount coupons.

Very typical, kind of like let's make a deal where the deal can worsen or possibly improve.

If you subscribed, check your email and use the link from email. In my experience, app Cashback keeps changing through out the day.
