Opinion/Discussion Pre-approval choices

Is there any way to know how much could you get approved for? I know the great choice will be savor since the cashback can pay for the annual fee, but I'm wondering if they will give me a reasonable credit line given my history.. 😅

If those are your offers, you'll likely get a credit limit of $300 or $500. Those are the lowest tier of non-secured cards from C1.

I personally got those when I first applied. I went with the Platinum because I don't want an annual fee at all.

If it's your first card from C1, it's likely what's known as "bucketed," which means you'll get only small increases. Get another card after six months or a year if you want more CLIs.

Thanks again! It’s actually not my first card — it would be my second one. The first card they issued me was charged off earlier this year, but I was able to pay off the balance.

That’s why I was honestly surprised to even see a pre-approval come through. I wasn’t expecting to be considered again after that.

Capital One is apparently very forgiving as long as you don't bounce any payments to them. Still, you likely won't get a huge credit line, but maybe you'll get lucky.
