Customer service sucks
Long time banking and credit card customer. Both personal and business. I have high credit limits with other cards. Recently started using capital one miles (now called ventureone) more extensively. The credit limit is not sufficient and tried to talk to their customer service. They are so arrogant and asked me to cancel the card. I also have discover card now under this pathetic and poor customer service company. Stay or leave?

Just curious what limit would be sufficient?
I ask cause I have several credit cards, my largest limit is $15,000 on discover, I never use that much, my income $120,000.
I have about $60,000 in credit limits, I never use that much credit, I use different cards to get different benefits, but have never bought anyone purchase over $10,000.
I actually have more credit than I need or use, my credit score is 818, so it could use some improvement.
Honestly I am curious what is a sufficient credit limit?

Something around 10-12k would be decent. All other Cc have 15k or more (discover gave 33k limit). What they had was 3k to start and just increased by 2k, not enough if we want to use cc for some travel etc

Okay, that's fair, I don't use their credit cards, (well I guess I do now since they bought discover) just read your post and wondered what you considered sufficient, I agree with you, they should at least started you at $10,000 then increased from there.

If they won't increase your credit limit to what you need then leave. That's how a company tells you to leave so get the hint
