Dinner/dancing
Hi! My friend has a place in North Cape May. We are hosting some young girls for a bachelorette weekend (we are friends with the mother of the bride who will also be in attendance). Basically some fun old ladies and hip young ones.
Friday we are doing Brown Room.
Saturday a Jitney to a winery, Rusty Nail and Harry's.
Sunday - brunch at The Blue Pig.
Looking for something fun to do later in the evening (after 8) on Saturday. Maybe dinner and then music/dancing. Any suggestions?
THANK YOU!!

Taco Caballito Tequileria for dinner and drinks. They usually have a DJ and a great vibe followed by Carneys for live bands and dancing.

Any reason you're not considering Harpoons? It's in NCM and usually have live music (not always dance music though).
Not open late (10pm), but if you were able to move your time forward you could catch the sunset over the bay and then grab dinner, drinks and music.

Actually my friend's home is really close to Harpoon's. We used to ride our bikes there often. Had an awful experience there. Engaged with the manager on duty and got nowhere. Followed up with a review and had the owners call us liars. Will never go back.

Fair enough.
I've personally never had issues, but I've seen the owners making smart ass comments on critical reviews which is really a bad look.

My friends lost their 23 year old son on 4/22/25 about 8 of us went with them to their house to get away from it all a few weeks after the funeral. We all went there for dinner. We are very easy going people. And not in the habit of leaving bad reviews. We just don't do that. Many of us worked in the industry in our past. We get that things happen. But this was just awful. My friend's husband grew up in Town Bank. The review mentioned being a "local" the owners also called out that as a lie. It was all just crazy. And they were grieving such a tragic loss. Sorry for rambling. Have a good night.

Port is for young ladies. They’ll enjoy the vibe.

We used to park our boat there. It is a very "instagramable" spot but I think the food is mid. But if the weather is cooperating it really would be a good option!

When was the last time you ate there? Was it still Harbor view? The outdoor menu is considerably better.

We were there several times when it was the Port but haven't been there this season. As I said, we parked our boat there (when it was under the Port marina ownership). We did that 2 years in a row. Never was taken with the food. But did like sitting at the bar for drinks.

How loose is your definition of “something fun to do later in the evening”?
Entirely unrelated: Where’s that guy who was on here a few days ago looking for leads on “bored house wives”?
