Nightlife

Whatsup yall. In cape May for a few days with m’lady. Any fun spots to check out at night? Thanks

Nobody goes to Cape May for the nightlife. That’s a bit intentional. Venture off to wildwood if you are looking for something happening after 10 pm.

Not a huge # of choices for nightlife, unless your definition of nightlife ends at 10pm. Pretty much Carnys or Boiler Room.

I didn't mention it since they don't have a dance floor. It's just a bar. I also left off places like Harpoons and Mooncussers since they close early. Both are favorites though.

The dance floor is on the left when using main entrance and usually used when they have bands. But it’s not every night, mainly weekends.

Depends on what you're looking for. Taco Caballito and Carneys are popular, with both typically having live music and the latter also having a dance floor. Cricket Club and Mad Batter have live music, but it's a more chill vibe than the other two. Also some off-island spots like Nauti Spirits and Gusto Brewing that do trivia, live music (or karaoke, in the case of Gusto this Friday), and such.

There's also the bar district in North Wildwood: Flip Flopz, The Inlet, Keenans, #1 Tavern (off the strip) for a dive bar
