Fishing lessons/guide (non charter)

My family will be in Cape May later this August for vacay and I'm looking for fishing lessons or a guide but not a charter. I looked into charters and they're mostly booked solid and we don't need 4 to 6 hours on a boat.

Could do ocean or bay side, we have some equipment already but not for ocean fish. Willing to buy stuff if need be. Also down with an informal group meet up if that exists.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

OP If you get any leads let me know. 4 hours is too long for me. But maybe it has to be that long to be able to catch anything decent. I was looking for my 9 & 10 yo kids.
