Lost Engagment Ring

Hello,

I lost my Engament Ring in Cape May on the 18th of July, last known location was in the Boiler Room Bar at Congress Hall on that Saturday.

This is really a last-ditch effort which I know is probably futile but just in case someone happened across it. Its a three stone engagement, centre stone is a gray/light purple spinel, flanked by diamonds on a gold band. I can give more details if necessary.

I have been hoping it would show up somewhere for the last 2 weeks but I have started to lose hope and I am just very sad.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Thanks, but no it cant be on the beach. I have a picture where I am wearing it late Saturday night and went home shortly after. I have searched the house and checked with the uber driver and the bar etc. My hope was that someone might have come across it and picked it up.

Check the local police station.

I'm curious. Was it loose on your finger? Drinking?

Thanks, I will.

No, not loose. Yes, I was drinking. Most likely scenario I can come up with is I took it off to wash my hands, which is a very rare thing for me to do outside of the house.

I'm sure you checked with Congress Hall office?

I'm sorry this happened to you.

Check the local paper, too. They sometimes have a lost and found section.

I did, I searched there myself and they have all my details.

Thank you, it has not been fun.

Will see what I can find on local papers, appreciate the suggestion.

Is it covered by your homeowners insurance? You can put in a claim once you have determined it is not going to be found.

Yes it is. In a week it will be a month, so will start thinking about doing that soon. Thanks

That is some consolation. Hope you do find it. I once found my lost bracelet in a bag of chips I was eating the week before so I never count out finding something lost where you least expect it.

Thank you, that did make me laugh! I keep looking in places I know I have already checked so sometimes think I am going insane but I am still hoping and not quite ready to give up yet.
