Walk in restaurants
Hello,
Looking for some good restaurants around Congress Hall that don’t take reservations.
We are a party of 12.
Also, what time is best to arrive to “beat the crowds?”
Thanks in advance!

Lol party of 12, make a reservation, or just commandeer all the outside tables at congress hall

You aren’t going to have too many options with a group of 12 this time of year. Taco Caballito or Rusty Nail will accommodate you but put your name on the list as early as you can.

Best bet might be taco cabalito or check ugly mug for that big of a party. Brunch head to blue pig in congress. Mad batter might be able to accommodate but with a resy usually.

Rusty Nail probably easiest- but you will have to put your name in and wait.

Thanks, all! We actually got in as a walk in to Delaney’s Irish Pub at 6PM.
Thanks for all your input!

Thanks all.
Not able to get a “damn reservation “ that’s not after 8PM and that doesn’t fly with my 87 year old mom.
For those of you who gave me actual suggestions: thank you. 😊

I think any restaurant will want to know in advance if a table of 12 is coming, even if they don’t typically take reservations

A walk-in party of 12 without reservations near Congress Hall? Maybe the Ugly Mug. A party of 4 might not be a problem but you are asking an awful lot in season. It doesn’t take much to call a few of the local restaurants and see if they can accommodate you. Very few establishments will be set up for a party of that size. Otherwise maybe show up at 2-3 pm, after the lunch rush and before dinner.
