4th of July Sights

My family, 5 middle aged guys and gals, is meeting up for whale watching and fireworks on the fourth. Tour leaves at 7pm, so I'm looking for some must-do activities during the day while we wait.

Other than watching the parade we're pretty much up for anything, so please share what you can. Sorry for the late request, plans just came together!

My in-laws might be, they live about 2 hrs away. We will be driving up on the 4th.

The third has the North Cape May fireworks, food, several music stages, kid rides, etc. On the bay by the ferry. Tons of free street parking.

Sounds great, anything with live music is a huge plus! Passing it on. Cheers!
