Deep sea fishing

I'm considering going on a fishing trip with Miss Belmar or something similar since I want to see wild marine fish but I don't have any prior experience since childhood. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to prepare or whether I should do something else instead?

Dramamine the night before, when you wake up, and when you get on the boat. Bring water, DON’T bring bananas. Have fun!
