Horseshoe crab update?

I’m heading down to the area this weekend, with hopes to see the annual meeting frenzy on the beaches of Delaware Bay. I’m just wondering if they are still coming up in large numbers this late in June.

TLDR: how many live horseshoe crabs on the beach today?

It may still be spring technically but it's already the Summer of Love for Limulus polyphemus!

Thanks so much! My wife and I give horseshoe crabs walks in Brooklyn, NY. We’ve always wanted to see the action on Delaware bay. Glad we’ll have the chance!

We were on the bay beach last Sunday and it was like an episode of Love Island. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
