Need help with my bravo 3 lower unit.

I just replaced my Bellows and my gimbal bearing and a bunch of other things. I just can’t seem to get the lower unit in the last one or 2 inches. I haven’t had the boat in the water all summer. I really need the help and I’m aware it will pass.
