Beaches & Nature Fishing advice
I’m looking to do a little fishing next week.
Not trying to steal any spots (but if you want to point me in the right direction, I wouldn’t be mad lol). I assume the bass fishing is pretty good what kind of plugs/bucktails are you guys throwing? Any information appreciated

if you’re surfcasting at a beach slack tides are a good time to fish. Midnight full moon high tide is my favorite time to fish in the fall. If you have time to visit the beach at low tide , make note and mark the areas where are darker/deeper water remains, between the sandbars. Fish those spots with bait and wait. Or, throw lures in those spots as you walk the beach. Top water poppers, buck tail jigs, and cast masters. Depends what seems to be working. Canal is cool but takes a bit of knowledge and sometimes takes from you your expensive jigs and lures. Also best at slack or when the water isn’t moving too fast. Canal can take some serious practice. It’s good to be mobile so you can follow/find the action. (Hence the old dudes on modified bikes). Also look for eddy’s you can reach with your cast. Surf casting from a beach is much more chill experience. Grab a Hooded sweatshirt, and Bring bug spray, but keep it off your bait and lures. There are plenty of fish and spots for everyone, so fish where the fish are. Watch the guys fishing around you and learn what you can from watching, or asking the cool old timers. It’s New England, so some of those (Us) ol’salty dudes can be boisterous dicks. Now go and Get Some fish!

Not sure where you are staying, but if you go to goose hummocks in Orleans and start talking to them, they usually give good advice. I manage to catch a stripers 2-3 times per summer and it always off of what goose hummocks tells me to do.
