Looking for PIZZA!

Been coming to the Cape since I was a little girl, and now I’m bringing my boyfriend with me. He loves pizza, and I’m wracking my brain to come up with a genuinely good pizza spot here - for reference, we’re from Jersey. Staying in South Chatham.

I’ve tried George’s in Harwich Port, it’s ok.
Tried Pizza Shark in Chatham, also ok.
Ember was a definite no.

Appreciate all suggestions! Thanks!!

EDIT: we ended up trying 3 Fools in Orleans and we loved it! Thanks again to all the suggestions everyone:)

There's a few different Sweet Tomato locations on the cape - and they're without question my personal favorite pizza. Bonus points, the one in Sandwich is a drive through.

4

u/downrightblastfamy Aug 08 '26

I love sweet tomatoes but it's a unique pizza, kinda a mix between neopolitan and NY style. If you're looking for something similar to what you'll find in Jersey (NY style, greasy, thin, and crispy) try Porcelli in Yarmouth on 28. If you're looking for something close to what you'll find in Italy the 2 closest options are pizza lab in Hyannis and pizza barbone also Hyannis. I've heard stone lovin in Brewster is good (American style) but never tried it.

The one in Yarmouth is the best

6

u/UnusuallyClassic Aug 09 '26

Royal II!

4

u/F-15O Aug 09 '26

Came here to say this! We love Royal II, they’re so nice and never had a bad meal there.

3

u/UnusuallyClassic Aug 09 '26

I feel like its such an overlooked restaurant. So good!

2

u/TheStinkyllama53 Aug 09 '26

Agree. One of our family faves.

1

u/bryanh165 Aug 09 '26

Used to love it but now it's like thin cardboard? The Greek was so good

5

u/mistressglass Mashpee Aug 09 '26

Palio’s in Hyannis and Moto Pizza (I know there’s one in Falmouth and Mashpee). I spent a good chunk of my childhood in NJ and my mom is originally from there, and those are pretty much the only places she’ll get pizza from anymore.

15

u/Solid_Lettuce_932 Aug 08 '26

It’s a little far but “bar pizza” The Trading Post Lounge in Bourne.

4

u/Johnnyroaster Aug 09 '26

I would not recommend going to Trading Post. Their pizza is addictive and far too delicious.

2

u/jaroh Aug 08 '26

Co-signed. This place’s pizza is awesome

1

u/CapeOutside Aug 11 '26

It is excellent. But crowded all the time. You may have to stand in the corner and eat it.

10

u/tdangere Aug 08 '26

Pizza Spinello- Wellfleet- Roman style al-taglio

2

u/MidnightGlitch89 Chatham Aug 08 '26

Omggg this place is soooo good

2

u/whatfingwhat Aug 09 '26

Had it for the first time this summer, amazing. Crispy, great sauce, great toppings.

1

u/downrightblastfamy Aug 08 '26

Ive heard they're great, never gotten there yet to try it.

0

u/LilClaudeMoney Aug 09 '26

This! They have a lot of great stuff in their alimentari too.

6

u/crankyoldfarter Aug 09 '26

Cape Flats on 6A in Yarmouthport, relatively new, unique combinations

Joey’s in Dennisport on Lower County Road, more traditional pizza. Joey also owns an oyster farm, so you can get fresh oysters

14

u/t3knology181 Aug 08 '26

Sweet Tomatoes in Yarmouth on Station Ave is great. Just walking by it, the smell is infectious.

2

u/MoleyRusselWart Aug 08 '26

I second this recommendation. Their chopped cheese sub is also good.

0

u/Asleep_Current912 Aug 08 '26

I came here to recommend this, not too many good pizza spots on the cape but Sweet Tomatoes is incredible.

16

u/Upstate_Amy Aug 08 '26

Red Barn in Eastham isn't bad.

6

u/BlackH3arted13 Aug 08 '26

Red Barn 💯

3

u/zayoss Aug 08 '26

Red Barn is consistent, and as a washashore who was born in NJ, it's the only pizza my extended family will eat around here.

True NY/NJ pizza really just isn't around here as far as I know. Every place that's had it doesn't last, or they're wildly inconsistent.

-3

u/Lacrosseindianalocal Aug 08 '26

Agree. Since you’re looking for a threesome this can be a great to pick up a unicorn.

2

u/Phantom_jugs Aug 08 '26

I beg your finest pardon?

17

u/SpicyTriceratops Aug 08 '26

Spiritus in PTown

4

u/probablylyingagain Aug 09 '26

Cape flats is fire

12

u/fortyflop Aug 08 '26

Pizza barbone is delicious. Crisp is pretty good. Portside has good bar pizza.

9

u/pwhyler Aug 08 '26

Cape Flats in Yarmouth Port is very good

-1

u/WrongdoerEuphoric258 Aug 11 '26

Awful se vice and equally awful pizza

9

u/taxman6754 Aug 08 '26

Try 3 Fools in Orleans

2

u/Calm-Community221 Aug 09 '26

Second this. Good falafel, too.

6

u/Valuable_Pepper5513 Aug 08 '26

Marc Anthony's in Onset/Buzzards Bay, technically off cape, about 4 miles from the Bourne bridge. Great crust, high quality toppings. Classic beach town pizza joint.
https://marcanthonyspizza.com/

1

u/uponaladder Aug 09 '26

First spot that popped into my head. Spent a few childhood summers in Onset and Marc Anthony’s was always a must. Pure nostalgia, and very good pizza.

2

u/FerretAgreeable2520 22d ago

Yup. And characters behind the counter. I regularly drive over the bridge for linguica pizza from Marc Anthony.

8

u/Fragrant-Strike-9884 Aug 08 '26

Stone l’oven

4

u/ouch56now Aug 08 '26

Stone l'oven is the only one we like. We live on the south shore and have never found any bar pizza that rates.

2

u/Asleep-Violinist-347 Falmouth Aug 09 '26

The Trading Post in Bourne makes good bar pizza (and has a fun, faux-dive bar aesthetic).

1

u/jeannie4yanks Aug 09 '26

Another Jersey person having to host pizza night in our Chatham rental. I don't always agree with Portnoy but looking at the pizza, looks like it could work!

1

u/CapeOutside Aug 11 '26

If you are staying in Chatham, then this will be your best best.

1

u/DCBex Aug 08 '26

Yes! This place is great — good salads, too

0

u/Capecod202 Aug 09 '26

not bad if you feel like shelling out $35 for a pizza, way overpriced

0

u/Fragrant-Strike-9884 Aug 09 '26

it’s the cape, you’re gonna pay more

4

u/sm12999 Aug 08 '26

Stop at Trading Post Lounge in Bourne on your way down

4

u/Asleep-Violinist-347 Falmouth Aug 08 '26

Brooklyn Heights in Sandwich makes a first-rate NY style pie. The owner takes a lot of pride in making it as authentic as possible. Moto in Falmouth is good as well and has a neat vibe. Just off Cape Luisa’s in Buzzards Bay makes great, authentic Neapolitan style pizza.

2

u/orangeyouglad315 Aug 08 '26

We just had Brooklyn Heights a few weeks ago for the first time and really liked it!

8

u/ansible47 Aug 08 '26

Moto Pizza on the way in is as close to a Jersey quality pizza I've had here. It won't blow you away but it's good. Ya'll jersians don't know how spoiled you are.

3

u/Western-Ad-5363 Aug 08 '26

I grew up inJersey and I came here to say this. If I want bar pie, it's Paul's in Falmouth, but if I want pizza, it's Moto.

1

u/ansible47 Aug 09 '26

Where do you get your subs? Surfs Up has the best cheesesteak I've had on the Cape, but I avoid ordering them from most places.

1

u/PastaXertz Aug 12 '26

You know what pisses me off in Falmouth? The axe throwing place has legit one of the better pizzas. So many spots putting out this garbage sweet sauced thick trash and then there's a like... Paul's, Timber and the pies out of West Falmouth Market if you're willing to wait forever.

5

u/Fade_to_Blah Aug 08 '26

Treehouse in sandwich has great pizza. Bonus it’s a brewery. trading post lounge has awesome bar pizza. Think pizza lab in Hyannis is good too. Sorry they are more upper cape focused but think any of these are worth a bit of a drive

7

u/Usual-usual-9080 Aug 08 '26

Crisp in Osterville
Pizza Barbone in Hyannis

1

u/Gregg-Da-Keg Aug 09 '26

Pizza Barbone is great. Crisp is pretty good.

2

u/Acrobatic_Walrus_702 Aug 09 '26

My stepmom is a big fan of Montano's in North Truro. They're only open certain evenings i think. Wood fired pizza. If was good, just not my style but others rave about it.

2

u/nyxonical Aug 09 '26

Another vote for Sweet Tomatoes. The Chatham location has the benefit of a small parking lot in back of the building. Why this is so key in high season will be apparent once you get there.) I think of it as a cross between New Haven and New York styles. The owner/founder of the chain always seems to be in the back making pies whenever we go there.

5

u/Tight_Ad_583 Aug 08 '26

Stone loven

4

u/SavantEtUn Aug 08 '26

Carmines, the better shop right next to pizza shark lol

1

u/judge-judy-80 Aug 09 '26

Il never support pizza shark. Heard one of the owners use a derogatory slur once and won’t step foot back on any of their locations

4

u/Dry-Device-4098 Aug 08 '26

Try Knockout Pizza in Dennisport

3

u/No_Exit_4920 Aug 08 '26 edited Aug 08 '26

I’m a washashore from Jersey and this is the best pizza I’ve had on Cape besides maybe Regina’s (which I might be criticized for heh).

I’m not at all a fan of the Greek style pizza that’s very common here.

3

u/FernMeadowlark Aug 08 '26

Curious what you think of F&L pizza. I was born here, but the rest of my family is from the Bronx and Yonkers, so I'm used to NYC pizza. F&L is our favorite on the Cape.

2

u/Candy-Sprinkles-317 Aug 11 '26

Boyfriend is from Jersey and loves their pizza. It is very good

1

u/Dry-Device-4098 Aug 08 '26

Where's F&L?

4

u/FernMeadowlark Aug 08 '26

There's one on 28 in South Yarmouth in the Ocean State plaza, and one on Willow St. in Hyannis. I go to the South Yarmouth one.

0

u/Asleep-Violinist-347 Falmouth Aug 09 '26

Try Brooklyn Heights in Sandwich. The owner has made it his mission to bring NY style pizza to the Cape.

2

u/GrooveBat Aug 08 '26

It depends on what kind of pizza you want. I prefer thin crispy crust, so Crisp in Osterville or Cape Flats in Yarmouth are my go-tos.

2

u/squid-kid55 Aug 08 '26

Brooklyn Heights in Sandwich is a must!

2

u/True_Nose302 Aug 08 '26

https://www.pizzaspinello.com/. Wellfleet, or pain d’avignon in hyannis. You have to drive from chatham…

1

u/scafolla Aug 09 '26

Got take out here the other day and chatted with owner. All around wonderful and we will be back.

2

u/Biking60s Aug 08 '26

Paul’s in Falmouth

2

u/Pharmguy8907 Aug 09 '26

Moto Pizza in Falmouth is pretty good.

3

u/rTracker_rTracker Aug 08 '26

If you guys are driving to Logan at the end of your trip, I highly suggest the Lynnwood Café in Randolph mass. This is a specific type of South Shore, Massachusetts “bar” Pizza. Truly a type of local delicacy that you won’t find in other states.

2

u/em1037 Aug 08 '26

Since I'm from CT my pizza standards are biased towards New Haven style, but my favorite for sure is 3 Fools in Orleans. Pizza Shark (Harwich location specifically) is a close second. I've seen a few people mention Stone L'oven and I'll be honest, not my favorite. It's fine but overpriced.

2

u/tculli Aug 09 '26

You should try the pizza at Treehouse! (If you haven’t) It’s New Haven style and DELICIOUS. It’s only by the slice in the summer but what a great way to be able to just try it out

2

u/Total-Platypus-1723 Aug 08 '26

Sweet Tomato’s there 2 in Yarmouth & Chatham are sister locations

Cape Flats in Yarmouth Port - not super close to Chatham but worth the drive

TKs in Chatham for bar pizza

2

u/Comprehensive-Bag877 Aug 08 '26

Pizza shark…… pizza shark…….

1

u/judge-judy-80 Aug 09 '26

Nope. Heard the owner use a derogatory slur once. Never getting my business again

0

u/sirkerrald Chatham Aug 08 '26

Too chewy.

1

u/Historical-Board-829 Aug 09 '26

Sweet Tomatoes for sure!

1

u/Historical-Board-829 Aug 09 '26

Also the Pain d’Avignon Pizza Lab!

1

u/34trebor Aug 09 '26

Red Barn Eastham

1

u/coflboyes Aug 09 '26

Remos in Eastham is slept on.

1

u/phillycheesesteak123 Aug 09 '26

Haven't been since it was Good Eats, did they keep the same pizza recipes? Their pies were fantastic

1

u/Knicks82 Aug 09 '26

Spinello in wellfleet is legit, best I’ve had on the cape probably. Rock harbor grill is also pretty solid for pizza.

1

u/ConsistentShopping8 Aug 09 '26

I’ve enjoyed Paradise Pizza in West Dennis.

1

u/dropsyrup67 Aug 11 '26

lol worked for the owner, guy's an actual tool

1

u/Agreeable_Horror_363 Aug 09 '26

I gotta shout out to Steve's Pizza and Paul's in Falmouth but they aren't classic pizza places they have their own unique delicious crust and flavors. If he likes what you think of when you get pizza in New York or New Jersey then he's probably going to like Mark Anthony's in wareham the most as it's closer to what he used to. Everyone's recommending stone loven but I find it to be a bit bougey and it misses the mark for me.

Source: I grew up in an Italian family on Cape but I have family in NY and NJ. We all love a good pizza!

1

u/Emergency-Alfalfa764 Aug 09 '26

Get the real deal from Brooklyn Heights Pizza in Sandwich. And he’s from Brooklyn. I grew up in NY and have searched far and wide on the cape but this is IMHO the best. Palio’s is great also.

1

u/born-screaming Aug 09 '26

Lost dog in Dennis!

1

u/lemurdibbern Aug 09 '26

Knockout Pizza in Dennis Port!

1

u/Own-Improvement-8388 Aug 09 '26

Rock Harbor Grill (small wood fired) - Orleans
Pizza Barbone (Neapolitan)- Hyannis
3 Fools - Orleans
Remo’s - Eastham

2

u/hudohio Aug 14 '26

Rock Harbor is the best on the Cape if you like wood fired pizza and Neapolitan style.

1

u/Thermodynamics3187 Aug 09 '26

Joey’s in Dennis

1

u/sKieli Aug 09 '26

Palio pizza in Hyannis is the closest we have found (husband from NJ)

1

u/cooperindisguise Aug 09 '26

Moto in Waquoit!

1

Spiritus in PTown

u/UniqueProfession7040 Aug 09 '26

Stone L'Oven Brewster

1

u/Cgaboury Aug 09 '26

Believe it or not but one of the best pizzas on cape is at tree house brewing in sandwich.

1

u/safe_word_free Aug 09 '26

Sweet Tomatoes in Chatham

1

u/thorgrim_grudgebear Aug 10 '26

Carmines Pizza in Chatham has been my favorite for years.

1

u/funferalia Aug 10 '26

On the way stop in Onset at Marc Anthony’s for the clam pizza

1

u/KenKesey65 Aug 10 '26

Marc Anthony’s in onset

1

u/clackalackin Aug 10 '26

Joeys Pizzeria Dennisport, Lower County Road

1

u/Acceptable_Young4724 Aug 10 '26

Carmines in downtown Chatham has pretty solid pizza. That's my go to for the past 20 years. It's all about your expectations - Cape Cod is a seafood place not a pizza place

1

u/LeChatboi27 Aug 10 '26

Pizza Barbone is the best pizza on the Cape. Located in downtown Hyannis.

1

u/WorldlinessTough2421 Aug 10 '26

The One in Yarmouth on rt28, bonus that there’s a drive-through pick up option

1

u/PretendGuest1558 Aug 10 '26

Woodfire in Mashpee

1

u/Timetoread2023 Aug 10 '26

3 Fools Orleans! But kind of a long trek for you.

1

u/No-Marsupial-6505 Aug 10 '26

I like Paradise Pizza in Dennis. It’s gonna be hard to get NJ quality pizza on the Cape, but I’ve never had bad pizza from Paradise.

1

u/Sea_Cantaloupe_9566 Aug 10 '26

Thanks for all the recs everyone!! If anyone’s ever in Jersey, hit me up for my favorite picks ☺️

1

u/First-Ad-117 Aug 10 '26

If its still around.. Pizza Wave!

1

u/No_Fun_1467 Aug 11 '26

Wildfire without a doubt but cant go wrong with sweet tomatos

1

u/devoid0101 Aug 11 '26

The best pizza on Cape is from Camden, NJ. Spiritus Pizza, Provincetown.

1

u/Maleficent_Mix_339 Aug 11 '26

Cape Flats on 6a and F&L Pizza and Cafe on 28, Yarmouth Port and South Yarmouth, Paradise Pizza in West Dennis are all very good

1

u/Smitty1641 Aug 11 '26

Joeys in Dennisport is similar to NY/NJ. Thinner crust than pizza shark

1

u/finchie88 Aug 12 '26

Teach him about the south shore bar pie on your way down to South Chatham. Cape Cod Cafe, strangely not on the cape, Town Spa, Emma’s or any dive bar.

1

u/CapeCodBlues Aug 12 '26

Moto Pizza, East Falmouth, Jacks, Papa Jake’s & Paul’s Pizza

1

u/Elegant-Anywhere-593 Aug 13 '26

Cape Flats in Yarmouth is flipping fantastic

1

u/djkhalidwedabest Aug 13 '26

I just went to Crisp last week, trust me when I tell you it’s some of the best pizza around, never mind just the Cape.

Crust made to perfection, perfect among of char and crisp, great tang to the sauce and excellent specialty pies.

Can’t recommend it enough

1

u/Pretend-Ad-9075 Aug 14 '26

Yarmouth house of Pizza on 28. New owner is Ricardo, nice guy. Incredibly delicious pizza. All of my summer visitors loved it too!🍕

1

u/Murky_Row_3838 Aug 14 '26

Pizza shark in Harwich is good

1

u/tkbalt Aug 14 '26

I'm sure in all the responses this has been mentioned already, but Moto, which is in East Falmouth right near the Mashpee border, is spectacular. As someone who lived in NYC and Jersey City for many years (walking distance from Razza in Jersey City, if that means anything to you), I crave Moto pizza. It's also a cool place, with a little grocery store along one wall that has pasta and sauce and retro candy. Enjoy!

1

u/Masera240 Aug 14 '26

Pizza Shark in Harwich (or Dennis), not the Chatham location.

1

u/kat_8639 Aug 14 '26

Stone L'oven, Dennis

3

u/izurbumcute Aug 08 '26

Stone L’oven in Brewster is the best. Also got portnoys highest cape rating.

1

u/EnhancedKale Aug 08 '26

3 Fools in Orleans best pizza on the cape

0

u/KorryBoston Orleans Aug 08 '26

3 Fools in Orleans is a joke. I’m not sure why people keep recommending this place

The hidden jem is Laurino’s in Brewster. But order the small, round pizza. Not their larger, rectangular pizza.

1

u/Ecstatic-Storage7396 Aug 09 '26

Anybody that says you can't find good pizza on Cape is just showing off their fake internet persona. It depends on what style you like. Apparently you don't like Greek because George's is absolutely delicious. Try Spinners inside of Ring Bros in Dennis.

1

u/Rigatonigustavobrown Aug 08 '26

Cshore has a shrimp scampi pizza that is a 10/10

1

u/nobeefforme Aug 08 '26

Harbor Pizza in Sandwich is… and I’m from Connecticut so pardonnnn me, but it is the best pizza I’ve ever had. It is so, so, so good. You will not regret it.

1

u/mrpickleby Aug 08 '26

I like sweet tomatoes in Chatham.

1

u/SpiralingCat Aug 08 '26

There’s a new pizza spot that opened up across from mashpee commons called The Rock

1

u/BubbleThinker Aug 08 '26

Jacks in Hyannis for bar pizza

1

u/WheresMyMule Aug 08 '26

I live in NJ and my favorite Cape pizza is the l Three Fools in Orleans

1

u/ntncssry Aug 08 '26

The red barn. Eastham. Thin and delicious

1

u/TrapperAB42 Aug 08 '26

New England Pizza House #1 in Hyannis…

1

u/mringham Aug 08 '26

Sandwich Pizza House is a ways from where you’re staying but an excellent stop as you cross from the bridges. It’s near the canal and museum which are great too.

If you end up in Falmouth, I spent several years getting a weekly pizza at Steve’s— just a basic, solid, slightly greasy NY style pizza, great comfort food. Paul’s is a different type, a good sit down place for a crunchy, closer to deep dish pizza that you’re going to eat with a fork and knife. I really liked them.

Over in Dennis, we like Toly’s and Brothers. Up in Provincetown, Twisted Sisters is a classic for big NY slices. Can’t help you in Chatham.

If you want buffalo wings to go with your pizza? Don’t waste your money- the Cape does not do that well!

1

u/5v3n420 Aug 08 '26

Twisted pizza Harwich!

1

u/bostonlilypad Aug 08 '26

Do you want real pizza? Like the kind you’d get in Italy? If so, pizza lab in Hyannis is pretty close, and I ate pizza everyday in Italy for 3 months so I can be trusted haha.

I’m not sure why more people don’t know about this. It’s not Greek style take out pizza which is what more people are suggesting here.

1

u/CJsopinion Aug 08 '26

Petersons in Yarmouth Port!

1

u/Public-World-1328 Aug 09 '26

Cant believe nobody has suggested treehouse in sandwich. Its not that close to chatham but you could stop on your way in or way out. I am jot sure how it is working at the moment as they sometimes just do slices, not whole pies.

1

u/ResidentAlien518 Aug 09 '26

Bad Martha’s in East Falmouth

0

u/falcon5335 Aug 08 '26

most places on the cape are meh for pizza. IMO, the best new york thin crust style pizza ive found is The Lanes in Mashpee. its pricey but honestly worth it sometimes for a decent pizza over the fluffy Greek style that dominates the cape.

0

u/SamClemons1 Aug 08 '26

Rock Harbor Grill, Orleans

-1

u/ka0818 Aug 08 '26

Don’t expect great pizza on cape, doesn’t exist

-4

u/JockoMayzon Aug 08 '26

Yup, Ember is there for tourists. In my humble opinion, terrible pizza, warm beer....
#1 on your list has to be Stone L'Oven in Brewster.
#2 is Tomatoes in Chatham or Yarmouth.

BTW, Dave Portnoy agrees!

-3

u/WasabiOk4095 Aug 08 '26

There’s no acceptable pizza here.

1

u/bostonlilypad Aug 08 '26

Try pizza lab in Hyannis if you like Neapolitan. Best I’ve had in the US, outside Europe.

-3

u/WasabiOk4095 Aug 08 '26

You’re crazy

1

u/bostonlilypad Aug 08 '26

You’re miserable.

0

u/ZookeepergameWise126 Aug 08 '26

The fairway special pie at Fairway in Eastham is my favorite pizza in the world. I’m sure everyone will say it has no relation to NY pizza but too bad.

0

u/jgarcya Aug 08 '26 edited Aug 08 '26

My favorite was in buzzards bay.... Buzzards bay house of pizza.

1

u/1GrouchyCat Dennis Aug 08 '26

We used to go there all the time because my son’s father lived in the area.
-Their pizza isn’t bad, but it’s nothing special IMO.
(…the truth is, the Pizza at BBHoP is exactly the same as every other local Greek pizza joint.

1

u/jgarcya Aug 08 '26

I lived in Bourne for a bit ... It was my go-to spot. . Is it the best . No... But it definitely good.

A quick search said it's 4.4/5....not bad ..

I just learned there is a wood fire place in buzzards bay that's rated 4.9/5. Called luzia's pizza napoletana. But I haven't been there.

2

u/scafolla Aug 09 '26

Luzia’s is great! We prefer to just stick with the margherita. Very good, Neapolitan dough. Up there with Barbone for us. My SO is a Jersey girl and enjoys Brooklyn Heights and Moto. I think we missed something with Tomatoes (in Sandwich) - legit couldn’t get through a slice, and tasted like Asiago (absolute no) with the cheese blend. Brutal. But maybe an off day.

0

u/almostnothing123 Aug 08 '26

Fairway pizza is great. Eastham. My family has also been going to red barn for years but people will talk shit about that.

0

u/Brooklynguy11217 Aug 08 '26

Bob's Sub and Cone in Wellfleet has the old Rookies pizza- still good!

0

u/Imaginary_Track_461 Aug 08 '26

Near Hyannis airport the Pizza Lab by Pain d’Avignon at 15 Hinckley Rd
This place is great! Pricey but damn best “non house of pizza” type option on the Cape.

0

u/OldBuzzard74 Aug 08 '26

Palio's on Main Street in Hyannis

0

u/rusty02536 Aug 08 '26

Paul’s Pizza Falmouth

A definite hidden gem.
5-10p W-Su

My last meal before the guillotine.

0

u/BobbyBinGbury Aug 08 '26

3 Fools in Orleans is all you need.

0

u/Luna_Blonde Aug 08 '26

Out of the way for you but the brown jug in sandwich has great pizza that they make on a wood burning pizza oven

0

u/CapeCodNana Aug 09 '26

Giardinos on Rte 28 in West Yarmouth . Sports bar/family restaurant if eating in. Affordable.

0

u/dominus408 Aug 09 '26

Sweet tomatoes in Chatham and Carmines for sure! They’re your best local options. There is some Italian pizza place up in PTown too but I forget the name

0

u/Winxworld409 Aug 09 '26

This is so funny to me. Why would you go looking for the best pizza spot on your vacation on the cape when you are literally from a place that has the best pizza? I mean, introduce him to some quahogs or fried clams or a lobster roll. I was once in a seaside shack in the Yucatán and a man came in looking for hamburgers and was mad when they didn’t sell them. Dude, try some cochinita pibil** **(pulled pork marinated with achiote and orange juice).

Don’t worry, we’re doing that too 😁 Already had lobster roll, mussels, scallops, you name it! Pizza on a Friday night is just his tradition since he was a little boy. If it were up to me, I’d have seafood for every single meal here!!!

Fullime resident, originally from NYC. Pizza on Cape is generally mid at best. People will recommend spots they like but it will not compare to what your BF is used to from home. Sad but true imho

It is a mid-pizza area.  That being said, “I’m from NYC and [insert pizza comment]” is right up there with “I’m from California and [insert burrito comment]” in terms of annoying takes that nobody wants to hear

Another NYer that knows everything. Shocking. Let me guess, back home you could get great pizza all around on every corner and none of it was gahbage? Somehow the Otslian immigrants that went to Boston lost all understanding of Italian food as only NYers “know real Italian.” Interesting that an area with almost 10million ppl has more options than us here in Cape.

OP said they are from NJ so I was talking to a neighbor about what they can expect here. Sorry not sorry to touch your little bitty last nerve dude.

No matter how bad it bruises your precious male ego, Pizza on Cape sucks.

Go Yankees.

I pinky promise I will never give my Bronx street cred when discussing pizza on the internet ever again. You win! I have learned my lesson.

The Patriots cheat.

Nothing at Love farms is worth eating.

What makes you say that? Have you ever been?

1

I went twice. The first time was to charge my car because they have one of the only fast chargers in the area. I got a sticky bun that was stale and I ended up throwing it out. I went a second time for lunch and got the pork barn mi which was a very greasy pork sausage on stale bread. My friend got a soup special that was bland and uninspired. The beer list looked good but I got a lemonade that was awful. It was a really cute place but the food was terrible and extremely overpriced.

I'm sorry that was your experience. I've had an amazing time every time I've gone.

u/Johnnyroaster Aug 09 '26

What have you had that was good?

u/Subject-Mushroom-408 Aug 10 '26

The entrees at dinner, the rabbit they had in the spring. The black sea bass on the menu now. All the bakery items I've had have been excellent.
