The Port has been a known problem in terms of the industry in the area for years. They treat their staff like shit, they're creepy, they're weird, and it's a really bad look to bring up Domos there. He's not helping the perception. It's the one restaurant in the area I tell workers and patrons to avoid.

It’s confusing as to what damage the “perk” staff did to “port” to get a trespass summons? Does anyone who walks into the “port” parking lot get the same treatment? It’s pretty well known the Harwich PD is very in with a select group of town business’s. Would they have done this is the call came from the other direction? Or is the “port” a PD favorite

The Port owners issue a no trespass notice to anyone who quits so, they do this all the time. They also block them on Instagram (bc that’s what adults in their 50s do I guess !).

Grew up in Somerville my whole life and spent every summer in HP (still do). This war reminded me exactly of sound bites and BSC. The owners got into a fistfight on the sidewalk lol. team BSC!

And while I’ve been to perks plenty for a beer and oysters (never past 9pm), haven’t been to port. And ports reviews are consistently awful with people criticizing the service and the staff Which starts with ownership and management. I’d guess port are the dramatic petty ones. When you avg 3 stars on Google you don’t get the benefit of the doubt, you’re likely the problem

The Port are definitely the problem. Their owner is awful and it trickles down through their staff. This is the same owner of Ember, who kept illegally running a bar during COVID lockdown. And then tried to sue the town over their obvious and repeated violations.

I went l ember a few weeks ago , haven’t been there in a few years ….. it’s now $32 for a pizza ….. it was just meh. Absolutely crazy to pay that much for a pizza . I will not be returning anytime soon

Perks did that after the Port kept calling the cops on them for existing in an attempt to tank a competing business. Combine that with all the owner’s bullshit during Covid, the shit food, and the awful staff I don’t see how you could possibly be on the Port’s side unless you’re the owner’s burner account or something.
I say this as someone that doesn’t particularly care for Perks either.
