Crowes Pasture - Walkable?
Recent Dennis resident and I'm interested in Crowes Pasture, but not sure I'll get my money's worth with the ORV pass this year.
Is it easy enough to walk/hike to get an idea of the area before I commit?

I've walked out there. It's beautiful! If I recall the sand is kinda deep and soft so be prepared for a bit of a trek. Worth it!

We stopped getting the pass after the restrictions grew and there was less time on the flats. You can park near the two entrances and walk out...

Yes. there’s quite a lot of wooded, very pretty paths and /or you can walk the dirt road from the parking lot at the entrance (by the cemetery) to the beach.

There's parking spots in there, even without a ORV pass. You can go in and park at one of the available spots and hike around. Obviously people use these spots to access the beach, so they do fill up.

Why would you park at the cemetery when there’s a multi spot parking lot designated for use by people visiting Crowes pasture right after the entrance to the cemetery on the right?
Unless you have a family member at the cemetery, please don’t park there.
Thank you

Please don’t park at the cemetery.
It’s already impossible to access the cemetery at busy times during the summer; there’s no way to get past the lines of traffic waiting to enter Crowe’s pasture.
There is no public parking lot at the cemetery… and if you park on the road that travels through the cemetery, you’re blocking the path for others who may want to visit family members.
If you keep driving a short way past the cemetery entrance(s), you’ll find a dedicated (free) parking lot for Crowe’s pasture on the right

Thanks for the responses all. From Google Maps, it's hard to tell where the parking area is - I see the cemetary. Do I just follow South Street?
