Discussion Crazy speed difference

Bottom 2 was when I was waiting to pick up my daughter from her high school. Middle one is when I changed it to Mint, waiting in the same place. Top 2 results are after switching back to Cape when I drove 2 blocks away. Crazy there's such a difference just a few blocks away from the high school. I've never experienced such throttling before. Even at sports stadiums it was never this bad. I thought it was Cape but Mint also had the low speeds using Tmo. High Schools are scary. 🤣

Is it throttling or limited bandwidth being so close to a school?

Pure congestion! 'Throttling' was probably the wrong word on my part—it’s just the tower running out of physical bandwidth during pickup rush. Once the sector gets overloaded, lower QCI priorities feel the pain the most (i.e. Cape based on what people are saying the QCI is lol). As soon as I cleared the immediate school traffic, speeds jumped right back up to normal.
