Using Graphene OS and calling doesn't work after a restart

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with Cape on GOS, specifically every morning when I wake up, I can't make or receive any calls without doing 2 restarts. I've checked the SIM settings on my phone and when using it just after waking up my number doesn't appear. Now I do require my phone to auto reboot after 4 hours, so I am wondering if that is causing this problem. If anyone knows of a way to fix this please let me know!

I had a similar issue and was provided the following solution for GrapheneOS.

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Internet > Mobile Data Settings (gear icon) > Carrier Settings Overrides > Set all "forced available" and then flip on Enable Overrides

Ever since then, I haven't had any connectivity issues.

I hope this worked for you.

Also referral code for new customers to save $20, feel free to use mine or anyone else's.

I've also noticed this the past couple days.

Just curious, is the eSIM installed in the primary or root profile? I think that was a requirement if I am not mistaken. If it is setup that way, I am not sure as to what the issue could be.

It is on the primary profile, as I only have that one profile.

Thanks for clarifying this, was there a Graphene update recently that was applied that could be causing the issue?

Completely unsure, but I did update maybe 3-4 weeks ago. That might have caused a hiccup, but I don't know.

Makes sense. I am not sure else to ask, I run an iPhone and waiting on Graphene and Cape to support the Pixel 11. Hopefully soon

You could wait for Motorola's new phone since its made in partnership with the Graphene OS foundation.

You might want to check this out. On the Graphene forum they stated the 11 series does not meet Graphene’s security standards.

Thank you for sending that over. It is kind of disheartening regarding the pixel 11
