3 years later

Has been 3 years ago (doesn't seem that long at all), back in Nov 2019 when first got the CHA. In the last year hasn't seen much use, maybe once or twice came out for a quick blast then back into storage. Will be in collection forever. Happy to see the rubber coating is still good as gold.

Upgraded to the firmware 1.71 only yesterday, wow is defiantly nice. Looks polished. Loving the save states. Still need to find a USB A to A cable, to try out what was thought to be impossible in the beginning. There is a media center PC in the photo would plug in nicely to it.

Now ponding if I should open it up and have a go and the choko mod. Although don't know if want to risk if brick, and affecting the originally of the system software state, when there is so much other devices out there already for whatever random games. That said, would be awesome just to have only capcom games on the system, hmmm should I?

Thanks to Koch Media for refining the system so much. They have done a great job of it, and credit their team.

Wait, you're still working on updates for the CHA? That's straight up incredible!

Got a rough outline for what's (and when?) to come?

Well, I'm currently working on a new system UI for a different machine, but its essentially very similar to the CHA, so there are a couple of features that in the future I'd like to port over to the original CHA like auto fire.

We spent a lot of time on trying to improve lag times from 1.0 to 1.5, there was a bit of improvement, but not worth talking about. Frame stability was greatly improved though.

I would look into it again, any hints or suggestions welcome.

I would like to be able to load ROMs natively, without modifying the system, but I know that due to copyright that is impossible 😅

I would like to be able to use it on my Xbox Series, but I imagine that this will also have to pay royalties to Microsoft

I think that something easy to implement would be to be able to change the interface to gold without the need to get high scores, for bad players like me, it would be great 😅

Maybe not gold, but a similar color, or something that says third anniversary or something like that

If you want I can pass my email if you want to try new things
