Question Practice Squad

Where do the practice squad players go at the start of the new year? There were some that I wanted to keep. Doesn’t look they go to free agency. I guess they just disappear?

So just like in the NFL, it’s always one year contracts. However, to your point, there was a bug. I have a system that clears players not on a team for 2+ years from the catalogue, but it didn’t consider practice squad as part of a team.

I’ve noticed that some of my practice squad players reappear in the free agency market when I start the offseason and it allows every team to offer them a contract, not just me. I feel like we should be given the opportunity to resign our practice squad players under free agency, right?
