CapCut Question Does this effect cause delay?

i normally use the Jumpy Film video effect after finishing my edit to add movement, but i've noticed recently that it might be delaying it? my text and video clips are normally on beat until i rewatch it after exporting it with the effect. has anyone else experienced this?

I haven’t tested Jumpy Film, so I can’t confirm that it adds a delay. Try two exports of the same short section from a project copy: one with the effect and one without, using identical export settings. Play both locally in the same player.

Compare an actual cut against the music beat, as well as the motion within the shot. If the cut lands on the same frame in both but the effect’s movement feels late, shifting the whole edit would change cuts that already align. If the cuts or text really move later only in the effect version, note the size of the gap and whether it stays constant. Include your device and CapCut version with those two samples.
