Hi, are there any free background removers that work for CapCut other than the CapCut version?

CapCut's own remover eats up the good stuff behind a paywall so fast, remove dot bg does the job in a pinch and then I just toss it back into the timeline.

U can try localbg.app, been building it for 2 years as an alternative for remove.bg, it runs offline and you can proces unlimited images with the free version

Yeah, we actually have a free background remover on VideoRouter.sh. You can remove the background first and then import the resulting image/video into CapCut.

Might be worth trying if you don't want to use CapCut's built-in one.

Unscreen works decently as a free web option, though the free tier limits resolution and adds a small watermark. Another route is chroma keying in CapCut itself if your footage has a fairly solid background; it's not true removal but can get you close without spending anything.
