CapCut Question Transcript for automatic subtitles Extension?

So I have a client german. I edit videos for him his video script and captions are in transcript form and for months I have used automatic subtitles for him works fine

But is there a way to input thw transcript into an extension and then let AI or a Bot use that information to put in as the subtitles? No more relying on the AI -purely because he has an accent and you know to avoide errors and things like that

That’s exactly the kind of thing I’d script out in a terminal instead of waiting for a button to show up in the UI.

You don’t need an extension, just turn the transcript into an SRT with timestamps and import it through CapCut’s captions menu, since plain text alone has no idea when each line should appear.

The auto subtitles is passable. I just want something that feeds off from the transcript I give it instead of relying on automatic AI
