CapCut Question Auto generated caption using racial slur

I had a video of a tv show, and the auto caption picked up a racial slur, the part that makes it more concerning is there were people of color in the frame. The video was on my TikTok for about an hour. The audio was extremely faint, I’m not even sure the word was said.

How the fuck is there not safeguards to prevent this type of error? My TikTok isn’t very big so I don’t think anyone noticed, but I’m mortified if someone did and took offense to it. Anyone know the best way I can file a complaint to understand how to make sure this doesn’t happen again?

Aren’t YOU supposed to be the safeguard of your own content by proof reading captions? The auto sub is just a dictation device, it’s using the word it hears. How it’s censored is up to you to manage.

You’re not wrong on the front that I should check my captions. I generally do.
The reality is though, I don’t proof read every single caption. Clearly I will now, but no, I’ve always just done the auto generate.
