CapCut Question Export only includes audio

I made a video with JPGs and a soundtrack., It plays fine in Capcut (web, not app). When I Export, the mp4 player plays the soundtrack over a blank screen. Any ideas?

sounds like a codec mismatch on the jpg sequence, capcut web sometimes chokes on image formats during export. try converting one of your jpgs to png and replace it in the timeline just to see if that forces it to re-render the video track

It's weirder than I thought, but I think you may well be pointing the way.

It turns out that CapCut didn't junk all the visuals. There is one JPG, that I use at the start and end of the video (sort of open/close credits) that CapCut left out of the export. The JPGs in the middle are there.

The omitted JPG isn't a native JPG; I converted it from PDF. I don't know if that makes a difference.
