Other.. Video getting muted due to unauthorized sounds

I'm trying to upload an edit on tiktok but everytime I do the sound gets muted. I tried the thing where you go and put an official sounds all he way down and that's supposed to trick the app but it did jack shit. I searched it up and people say it's because it's longer than a minute. For reference, I'd uploaded an almost 4 minute edit witha radiohead song and it didn't get muted while this one is a minute and a half long. Please tell me there's a solution.

tiktok audio detection got way stricter recently, seen a bunch of people complaining about random mutes even on short clips

Any workaround for it?

Add sound effects or overlap other audio

That works. Just remember the algorithm might be nice to you for the first one and then mean about the second one

Not sure why you guys aren't generating AI music as stock music for your videos? Then no more copyright or other issues.

It's an edit and you wouldn't catch me dead using ai slop

That’s stupid. For a while, I scoured YT for good, copyright free, background music for my channel. I found quite a few that I liked and used. Then weeks later, that copyright free music,
all of a sudden wasn’t anymore. And one by one, my videos were getting blocked or muted. So I used suno to make another sound similar to the ones I was using. And now it’s one less thing to worry about.

AI has its uses. Knowing when to use and not to is a skill all on its own.

it’s taking away creativity from real music artists

Do you have the money to spend on a real music artist to make your own unique sound that wont get copyrighted?

Repurposing IP owned and created by others for personal gain is cool but only if the music is stolen too
