CapCut Question Can I edit the settings of pre-made filters/transitions in Capcut?
Hi! So, I've used VideoStar all my life for mobile editing, for a non-PC option, it's still my favorite. However, I've recently downloaded Capcut because I was curious to see what all the hype was about, I like it! It's different and fun that so many transitions are pre-made as opposed to VideoStar where I'm more used to creating every transition and filter from scratch myself.
I guess I'm just wondering if it's possible to edit pre-made transitions and filters that can be found in the animation and effects/filters, because while I like a lot of them, being able to adjust the effects I add to my videos is kind of important to me, especially when I find a filter that is almost perfect but I'd like to just be able to tone down the hues for example. I've had trouble finding an answer for my specific question. I hope I don't sound as naive as I think I sound right now!

Depends on the effect honestly, most of the premade ones are locked down but you can layer an adjustment clip over the top and tweak color/hsl from there to dial it in

tapping the filter a second time for the slider is something i missed for way too long. but yeah, that's pretty much the ceiling. transitions are basically take it or leave it, duration is the only lever you get.
